"I enjoyed taking part in the Eastlea Election. It was interesting learning about the General Election and having the right to vote for a Political Party I resonated with. I now feel like I am ready to vote when I turn 18".(Year10studentleader)
"I felt proud to be on the other end - helping Mrs Bhanu and other student leaders count the votes and making sure that election day runs smoothly. This is definitely something I would like to do again as it taught me time management and leadership skills".(Year9 studenthelper)
"I loved voting in the election. Everything was set up so clearly and it was fun to participate in something to do with the wider community. I feel like I now understand more about politics and the news".(Year7student).
