Year 7 The Big Sing

On Wednesday 13th November year 7 took part in the Big Sing Concert. This concert was an opportunity for students to demonstratetheknowledge, talentandhardworkthattheyhave beenputtingintotheirmusiccurriculumsinginglessonsoverthe first half term. Students showcased their ability to sing in a number of languages and in different styles. The year 7's also performed a cappella, in three part harmony and as small ensembles of soloists. The students' enthusiasm and enjoyment was infectious and their professionality was a testament to them. They were joined by a dedicated Band made up of year 8-10 who accompanied them for a number of songs supported by our peripateticstaff. It was also fantastic to see the number of parents that came to watch to support their children and this made it an even greater success.
