L’expérience offerte à nos jeunes étudiants qui viennent étudier en Suisse est unique. Ils vont repartir avec pleins de souvenir de cette aventure, mûri de cette extraordinaire éducation immersive et avec un diplôme en poche qui leur ouvrira pleins de portes.

Le Neuchâtel Junior Collège est un endroit exceptionnel. Tout au long de mon adhésion au Conseil de fondation, j’ai toujours été impressionnée et inspirée par la générosité de la communauté locale qui nous entoure et qui soutient l’école et nos étudiants. C’est l’appui de cette communauté qui fait la différence et nous aide à réussir notre mission avec succès.

Que ce soient les familles d’accueils, la Ville de Neuchâtel, les membres du Conseil de fondation ou l’administration de l’école; chacun joue un rôle important pour nos étudiants et notre école. Que ce soit pour avoir ouvert la porte de leurs maisons, avoir donné de l’amour à nos étudiants, ou avoir consacré leur temps pour la réussite de l’école et pour que chaque étudiant puisse recevoir une éducation immersive : la communauté locale est indispensable. Nous sommes si chanceux d’avoir leur soutient!

MESSAGE FROM CHAIR, ADVANCEMENT & ALUMNI COMMITTEE

As a proud alumna of NJC, it is an honour to serve on the Neuchâtel Junior College Canadian Advisory Council and as Chair of the Alumni and Advancement Committee.

As a committee, our main goals are to engage our NJC community, to enable strong and ongoing connections to the school, and to encourage them to give back through charitable gifts that support the main priorities of the school. These priorities include tuition bursaries to ensure as many young people as possible can benefit from the transformational educational experience offered by NJC, or capital projects and technology upgrades, as well as unrestricted giving, which allows the school to respond to emerging needs and opportunities for students.

Our tradition of generosity has never been stronger, with over $321,000 being donated in 2022 to support NJC and its students. Our Grad Class Gift Campaign for the Class of 2022 contributed $78,000 toward tuition bursaries and campus upgrades, and the class of ’75 Dare to Lead, Dare to Dream Grant has raised an astounding $100,000 which will be awarded for the first time in 2024 for student-led initiatives focusing on critical issues in our world.

We were thrilled to add a signature event this year, the NJC Nine, Wine & Dine Golf Tournament, which hosted 60 alumni, parents, and friends for an afternoon on the greens. We have also reinvigorated our Alumni Executive Committee and Class Rep programs this year, so please watch out for more ways to connect to alumni.

Our NJC alumni and their families continue to inspire me with their passion for the school and willingness to volunteer in many capacities to make our community even better. Please accept my thanks for all that you do.
