Being a conscious creator

Laura Di Mambro blazed onto the wellbeing circuit like a bright star when she was divinely guided to create the Conscious Life Festival on the Sunshine Coast in Qld in 2011. She is a visionary and communicator and says an idea should pulse from within your whole-being to be a successful entrepreneur.

“Creating something, starting something, takes a lot of energy and space, so you should be doing something you feel driven and purposeled to do,” she said.

Like most inspirational stories, Laura’s incredible entrepreneurial success was born from a pivotal point in time that led to her amazing story. “There was a collection of divinely guided moments, signs and events that happened all close together. It included the heartbreaking loss of my mother at only 58, my son being three months premature and my own cancer journey

shortly afterwards. It gave my whole life a new urgent meaning and a changing realisation of what I wanted to do with my life. I was inspired to leave behind a successful (safe) career to pursue my soul-calling to be someone that connects people and creates conscious change.”

Laura classifies herself as a changemaker and has been on this entrepreneurial journey for nine years. “I took a chance and followed a path that unfolded before me. I am so happy I did, it was a path that led to the creation of the Conscious Life Festival which has become the second biggest event of its kind in Queensland, and attracts speakers, teachers and healers from all over the world. Thousands of people visit each year from right across Australia. It is a two-day mind, body and spirit event featuring a collective of conscious creatives, family-friendly fun, workshops, beautiful shopping and a celebration of soulful teachers and students.”

Laura’s heart and soul runs through the Conscious Life Festival and she makes the extremely incredible accomplishment of creating and successfully running the event look relatively easy because of her talent for organisation and design.

Laura discovered through her new path that she had a gift for creating spaces that facilitate profound change and learning in vast numbers of people at once.

“I have such a passion for what I do and because of that, I love to encourage others to see their potential and passion as well. If I could impart one piece of advice to anyone on the entrepreneurial journey or considering following a calling or new path, it would be to always believe in yourself, trust and do not be led or swayed by others. Always feel into what you are doing, the decisions you are making and trust that gut instinct – it’s powerful.”
