Walking the “Path of Inner Cartouche

What is a Cartouche? In ancient Egyptian times, a cartouche (shenu or circle) was a “rope” that surrounded a pharaoh’s name to protect him from evil. It is an elongated form of the shen ring; the symbol of royalty, the One with power as vast as the shining sun. Within the oval is written the Ren.

What is Ren? It is the name given to a person at birth. One side of the cartouche bore the throne or secret name, the other their birth name. The Egyptians believed that the human soul had five parts: the Ren (name), the Ba (personality), the Ka (vital spark- life force), the Ib (heart), and Shuet (shadow). Repeating the Ren brought forth more and more of its protection qualities. After the individual’s death, repeating or remembering the person’s Ren allowed them to continue to exist.

When a person is ready to enter the earth-plane, the cartouche with the Ren sidual inscription is placed within their soul. It works like an inner spiritual mantra. Unbeknownst to the wearer, it feeds them subtle impressions. When the person becomes a seeker of spiritual truths, a prompting occurs to Go Within. It awakens the individual to the magical sidual of Ren. Inwardly, when the appropriate time comes, The Path of Inner Cartouche reveals itself.

Let’s take a journey.

You are residing in the Heart/ Mind of the Divine. You decide it is time to continue to learn and grow in awareness and consciousness. You contact your Spiritual Team and tell them of your plan. A meeting is set up. Your guides listen to your plan as you tell them of your desire to learn, grow, and become more enlightened. You convey to them that this time you’d like to go to the Earth Training Planet. They relate that the Earth Training School is one of the most difficult. It would entail more complex challenges than any other planet has. You insist that you are ready.

After months of deliberation, contemplation, your team and you agree on a plan. Since, venturing into unknown territory, it is agreed upon that you would have:

~A spiritual family over-lighting you, 

~Soul mates assisting you on your path, 

~Soul mates participating in major and minor roles within the challenges you chose, 

~Free will, 

~Your mind contain memories necessary only for this journey, 

~No interference from guides with the choices made, 

~Your spiritual team available for assistance, but YOU must ask, 

~A cartouche sidual, 

~Many paths to travel; the final being The Path of Inner Cartouche.

You migrate down to the earthplane. You exist upon it for numerous years, having many experiences; both good and bad. Then a series of dreams occur during sleep time. They are about:

~A cartouche, 

~Symbolic letters, 

~A amulet being placed in your soul, 

~Subtle spiritual mantras, 

~Truth seeking, 

~Promptings to “Go Within,” 

~Awaking to the inner presence of Ren, 

~Entering a Mystery School of inner discovery.

One morning as you are lying in that in-between state of sleep and being awake, a member of your Spirit family appears. This Angel says to you, “I’ve come to discuss more deeply your soul journey upon Mother Gaia.” After you chat for a while, the impression of an amulet with your name comes into your consciousness. The Angel states, “It is time the cartouche that was placed in your soul, years ago, be displayed on the outer. It will help you discover your soul’s purpose, activate your soul memory, reveal your true purpose and lead you to the spiritual tools needed to accomplish your mission.”

When you wake up, interestingly enough, a cartouche with pictorial hieroglyphic symbols lies in plain sight. You look at it, contemplate on it and put it around your neck.

Over the next few years, you try on numerous spiritual/ metaphysical hats, ideas and practices. They are comfortable for a while but none seem to fit quite right.

Your search continues. Your memory recalls time spent with your guides planning an earth experience. The Path of Inner Cartouche comes into your conscious awareness. Inner guidance states, “It is now time for you to choose and walk your Inner Path to Higher Consciousness.”

You are reminded of Carlos Castaneda words, “Look at every path closely and deliberately, then ask yourself this crucial question: Does this path have a heart? If it does, then the path is good. If it doesn’t, it is of no use.”

I share an excerpt from my book, Key of Life – Integrating Ancient Wisdom into the Modern World: “During the ancient Egyptian times, seekers sacred path to higher Ascension took place in the Mystery Schools. The Ankh or key of life unlocked the door of inner consciousness: the mysteries started to unfold; the sun rose, the waters gently washed away the veil of the sands of time; wisdom and understanding surfaced, awakening them to their fully realized Self, the Sahu.”

Walking the Inner Labyrinth

Each step on your path allows you to tap into higher and higher awareness and consciousness. Let’s get started:

~Stand at the bottom of the Stairway of introspection, look up the Moon side of consciousness. Take a few deep breaths. Align yourself and set your intention. 

~Slowly, walk upward. Experience the flow of the River Nile’s Divine energies washing over the chakras (Pyramid temples) located on the West Bank. They are being filled with the goddess energies of Love, Peace and Joy. These energies strengthen and stabilize your solid foundation (Djed). 

~As you reach the pinnacle of Self, Divine consciousness greets you. You rest in its arms. Deeper awareness is gained. A sense of knowing overcomes you. Your cup overflows. 

~It is now time to leave this Divine space. 

~You begin the descending journey through the masculine chakras of the East Bank. 

~As you slowly continue, the Sun shines upon the chakras (Pyramid temples) as they absorb new vibrations of creation, power and strength. They are anchored into the Djed, bringing balance and harmony to it. 

~The perfectly balanced masculine/feminine energies are shared with the planet as the River flows into the Sea. It ripples out and unites with all of the water of the planet.  -

~You are filled with the Divine. The planet is filled and uplifted with the Divine. 

~All is Well. 

~You’re walking the labyrinth of the Pyramid temples gives you great insight. Once you gain the understanding of Ren, walking the labyrinth of the Pyramid allowing you to attain ever deeper connection and meaning of your Sahu (fully realized Self).

How to Translate Ren?

Translation of each hieroglyphic pictorial symbol, along with the symbolic numerological meaning of each number, reveals inner and outer qualities of the individual to whom it belongs. The side of the cartouche with the birth name imprinted gives guidance of earthly life upon the planet. The side in scripted with the spiritual name of the wearer, reveals the spiritual gifts waiting to be activated at the appropriate time when walking their selected path of Ascension.
