 STEP 2 Open the database in your course Go to your course and find the e-resources and e-books section. Click on ‘Business Insights: Global’ to gain access to the database.

 STEP 3 Search Select the field from the dropping menu (Company, Article, Country, Industry or Keyword) and enter keywords in the search box for a basic search (e.g. Tesco in Company). Then Click the ‘Search’ button.

 STEP 4 Search Results Then you get a list of results that match your search.

Once you find the option you would like to view, click on the title to open.

ďƒ˜ STEP 6 Filter results From here you can choose which information you would like to view about the company. For example: financials, news, SWOT reports, statistics, strategy and planning etc.

 STEP 7 Access to the information Once you have chosen the information you want to view you will see the below, for example the SWOT Report.

To open it click on the title and the PDF document will appear.

ďƒ˜ STEP 8 Read the article Once you get the PDF document, you can read the article online, minimise or maximise the size and navigate by using the scroll bar. The set of tools also allows you to print a copy and save the document.
