Reserve an item directly through the OPAC

To reserve items on loan to other users you can either:

 Ask a member of the LRC team on the Welcome desk to reserve the item for you.  Do it yourself by using the online facility on the LRC catalogue.

 STEP 1 Find the item in the catalogue Go to the library catalogue and do a basic search to find the item (Read guide ‘How to… search in the catalogue’).

Once you have found the item you want to reserve, click on the button Reserve Item:

ďƒ˜ STEP 2 Login to your Library Account Enter your ID number, typing a figure 0 in place of the initial letter 's':

 STEP 3 Collect the item We will phone or send you a letter as soon as the item is returned to let you know that you can come to the Welcome Desk to collect it within the next 7 days. You can check the progress of any items you have reserved through your library account. (Read guide ‘How to… manage your library account’)
