The Creative Learning Centres (CLCs) provide regional support across Northern Ireland, with three centres:

● Nerve Centre situated in Derry-Londonderry

Our aim is to provide support and guidance to both teachers and pupils engaged in the study of Moving Image Arts (MIA). It is particularly of benefit to teachers and/or schools new to MIA.
This programme is designed to enhance critical understanding, technical proficiency, and creative expression in the field of moving image production.
Key areas of focus include script writing, camera techniques, lighting, filmmaking techniques, sound and editing.
Schools can choose up to 3 full days of teacher training and/or in-class support that will be delivered at key points in the school year.

Acquire practical skills and strategies for planning, shooting, and directing film projects.
Understand the role of sound in film and learn techniques for recording and editing audio effectively.
Master the post-production process, including editing techniques to enable student to refine and enhance the final film product.
