Nepal Scouts started shuttle service for health workers in Covid pandemic. The doctors and other health workers were facilitated for going to the hospital and provide other necessary service as well. This service benefited 250 health workers.

Nepal Scouts established Help Desk for covid relief in many cities to facilitate in providing proper information about Covid19 and ways to prevent the infection.

The volunteers in the desk facilitaated in finding the hospitals, ICU beds, ventilators, oxygen supply and other services like medicines. They also kept up the statistics related to covid and updated to the local government for better coordination and support to the needy people.

HAND WASH STATIONS

Nepal Scouts prepared and operated Hand wash stations in major areas of big cities for the use of general public. Such stations were established in 75 locations. 625 Scouts volunteers served in the stations where 49,434 people got benefited.

MASK DISTRIBUTION AT SCHOOLS

Nepal Scouts distributed face masks in the schools. The face mask and social distancing was important to curb the spread of the virus so the school children were awared about importance of mask, social distane and regular wash of hands with soap and water.
