 Nencki’s Railway Technology introduces itself: Nencki Railway Technology is a business unit of Nencki AG at Langenthal, Switzerland with orientation on the worldwide distribution of machines and equipment for bogie workshops and stationary rail welding plants.

The family-owned managed enterprise will be already 70 years old in 2017. From the beginning, Nencki AG designs and manufactures at the site in Langenthal, complex hydraulic and electric/electronic controlled machines for special customer requirements. In the seventies the company was transferred from family Nencki to family Käppeli, and is now continued by the 2nd generation, Mr. Seppi Käppeli. The business unit Nencki Railway Technology was launched in 2006. In the meantime Nencki Railway Technology is active worldwide on the major railway markets and has more than 300 machines in operation. Our products assist for the bogies to be better adjusted and maintained as well as to improve the quality of welded rails.

Integrated solutions for bogie workshops WHETHER IT IS FOR THE MANUFACTURER OR FOR THE MAINTENANCE. Nencki Railway Technology offers individual machines, supplies packages with several systems or creates entire workshop concepts: «You inform us, which type of bogie is used, and we develop with you solutions for the modern bogie testing and maintenance.» Spring and damper test stands, lifting, exchanging and dismantling and re-assembling of bogies - there is a wide spectrum, which can be supplemented in collaboration with partner companies.

Leading supplier of bogie test stands Nencki Railway Technology has more than 100 systems operating at the various international most important rolling stock and locomotive manufacturers, for ensuring the safety and reliability of trains. For testing and maintaining bogies and components, Nencki develops permanently new products.

Machines for stationary welding plants for long rails FROM INDIVIDUAL MACHINES TO COMPLETE WELDING LINE CONCEPTS. Our rail handling machines prove themselves on all five continents during daily tough use, whether in the desert with temperatures above 50° Celsius or in locations near freezing point. They are distinguished through a long life span and economical service.

The scope of supply of the Nencki Railway Technology includes brushing machines, automatic rail profile grinding machines, 4-way-straightening presses and units for testing the welded rail as well as conveyors and line control systems. We collaborate for those projects with leading welding machine manufacturers and general contractors.

Swiss Technology from a single source WHETHER IT IS FOR A MANUFACTURER OR FOR THE MAINTENANCE. From the beginning, Nencki AG develops and produces machines and systems in-house. A team of mechanical, software and electronic engineers has specialized on PC-controlled, precise machines powered by hydraulic or electric drives. Thanks to a continuous progression and investment into latest technologies, Nencki Railway Technology has achieved a leading position in the global market. Besides ISO 9001, we also possess the EN 15085-2 certification for welding work in the railway branch. Our customers can benefit from direct communication and quick decisions, due to flat hierarchy and a team knowing each other very well.

Complex and high-precision components are produced in our own facilities. Every machine is assembled by specialists at our works and thoroughly tested before dispatch. Our internal software engineers use the state of the art programming techniques and check the applications directly on the machine. Together with our engineers, we develop customer specific test functions or create layouts and concepts. Life Cycle Costs, RAM, risk analysis etc. are not foreign to us. 9
