Hot Stone Shirodhara
Calm the mind and soothe the body in this ancient treatment. Warm stones relax the body while Ayurvedic aromatherapy oils are streamed over the third eye chakra to quiet the mind, and specialized techniques provide a holistic form of healing energy.
Woodlands Hammam
Hammam means spreader of warmth. This therapeutic ritual of heat, steam, detoxification, rich scent, and relaxation is based on the skin care practices of the hammam bath house. A lemon-coffee extract is applied to exfoliate, in preparation for a creamy, jasmine-rose Rhassoul clay wrap. An aromatic mineral soak is next, followed by invigorating body spritz. Cardamom, amber, and grapeseed oils are blended and massaged into the skin leaving the body in a warmed state of relaxation.
Water Path Ritual
On this watery walk — designed exclusively for the Woodlands Spa — alternating temperatures and variable pebble surfaces combine to stimulate circulation and improve immune systems. The session comes to a tranquil close with a relaxing soak in a mineral spa, infused with therapeutic salts.
Crystal Massage
Is your skin feeling dry or dehydrated? This 80-minute, relaxing massage with a custom signature body serum is perfect for any season. Includes a full-body exfoliation, Palo Santo smudging with Chakra balancing, and it finishes with a luxurious full-body massage.
Woodlands Bespoke Manicure or Pedicure

Mystic Rock Golf Course
Mystic Rock, the dream of Nemacolin’s founder, Joseph Hardy, brought to life by prominent designer Pete Dye, is one of the country’s finest golf courses. Perched atop the Pennsylvania Allegheny Mountains, Mystic Rock spans acres of the scenic Laurel Highlands, offering players championshiplevel golf in a spectacular setting.
Shepherd’s Rock Golf Course
As Nemacolin’s second Pete Dye-designed course, Shepherd’s Rock opened in 2017, and offers an extraordinary golf experience in a standout setting.
The 7,290-yard Shepherd’s Rock course stretches across the glorious Pennsylvania Allegheny Mountains and is brilliantly designed to be both fun and challenging for players, making it the perfect companion to Nemacolin’s PGA Tour-tested Mystic Rock.

Perfect your swing at Nemacolin’s Golf Academy — one of the most innovative training and practice facilities in the country. Our talented instructors, club-fitting specialists, and ingenious athletic technology works together to improve every aspect of your game.

WILDLIFE ADVENTURES
Bringing together animals from all corners of the world, Wildlife Adventures provides interactive education and live animal programs.
Wildlife Habitats
See where the wild animals roam around more than 2,200 acres on Nemacolin’s property. Hop in your car, bike, or walk the trails, and visit with the animals that call Nemacolin home.
Guided Wildlife Tour
Join one of our friendly keepers on an adventure around the large animal habitats. Riding through the habitats in a van, guests will have the opportunity to view keeper training and feeding demos.
Backwoods Trail Ride
Tour the scenic beauty of the Pennsylvania Laurel Highlands on horseback. Backwoods Trail Rides begin at the Equestrian Center, and your guide will lead you through two miles of wooded trails.
My Mini Pony Encounter
Begin with a pony ride, end with a masterpiece. Pick your favorite color, then assist the horse in making a unique piece of artwork you’ll get to take home. Guests will be able to get up close and personal with the horses of Nemacolin as they create a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork with a horse assisting in the painting process.
Witness the Wild
Witness the Wild and discover the power and presence of Bengal tigers, African lions, cheetahs, and wolves that call Nemacolin home. While each of our carnivores were born in captivity, they remain wild at heart and are respected and cared for as such.
Dogsledding
Take a tour of the kennel, and ride throughout the property in a sled pulled by Nemacolin’s very own sled dog team. Weather permitting.

Indoor Axe Throwing
Experience the exhilarating and cosmic rush of indoor axe throwing at The Peak. Test out your lumberjack skills as you swing, throw, and aim for the bullseye!
Cosmic Bowling
Stay in your lane, or at least try to, at Cosmic Bowling. Cosmic wonder, whimsy, and fun fill the space with neon, black lights, and artistic designs.
Fun Zone at The Hardy Girls’ Gym
Adults and kids can immerse themselves in limitless virtual reality and laser tag, a tumble track with an airbag landing, a bouldering wall with various difficulty routes, games like cornhole and ping pong, and the excitement of becoming a Nemacolin ninja on the warrior course.
High Ropes Challenge Course
Overlooking the Laurel Highlands with three off-the-ground levels of ropes and platforms reaching 52 feet into the air, you’ll find 36 new elements and varying levels of difficulty waiting to be overcome.
Little Tykes Ropes Course
Little tykes ages 3-8 have their own version of fun providing them with a maximized climb and an adventurous experience. Built just above the ground, parents can be nearby or let their little adventurers go at it on their own on the nine new and exciting elements.
Canopy Tour
Prepare for an adrenaline-fueled adventure with the Canopy Tour, where you’ll soar through treetops on the thrilling Zip Line, and tackle the heights of the High Ropes Challenge Course.
Climbing Wall
Reach new heights and conquer our 50’ freestanding climbing wall. Our three-sided structure offers a range of route options, perfect for every climber from beginners to experts.
Quick Jump
Take a leap and experience the thrilling sensation of free-fall all while securely fastened. Come on and jump in.
Zip Line
Experience the thrill of soaring through the treetops with this exhilarating zip line adventure. With two side-by-side zip lines on each of the two spans, you can race a friend across the first 1,380-foot zip line before reaching the second 700-foot stretch, while reaching speeds of 30-45 miles per hour.
Target Paintball
Hit a bullseye with Target Paintball, where you can perfect your aim shooting at stationary targets and practicing your sniper skills.
ADVENTURE EXPERIENCES
Outdoor Combat Paintball
This high-energy game takes place in the wooded hills and is organized by The Peak staff to recreate a thrilling combat atmosphere. Teams compete, challenging each other’s skills and teamwork
Whitewater Rafting on the Lower Yough
The Youghiogheny River is known for its whitewater rafting and kayaking. Though we call it the Yough (Yok) for short, it’s not short on adventure and fun! This three-hour trip is exclusively for Nemacolin guests and members to conquer the Class III rapids on the Lower Yough on a fully guided tour with a pro.
Skiing & Snow Sports
With 25 acres of downhill skiing and snowboarding on six slopes ranging in difficulty from beginner to expert, skiing at The Peak offers snowy fun for all experience levels. Skiing is open through March, weather permitting. After-dark adventures make for great fun on the well-lit trails for nighttime skiing and snowboarding, too!
Snow Tubing
Slip and slide down 700 feet of fun with family and friends. Feel the rush of the crisp winter air, and make thrilling memories to treasure, together.
Cross-Country Skiing
Take off from The Peak, and enjoy a stunning tour of the Laurel Highlands as you glide across the property on cross-country skis.
Jeep Off-Roading
Instructional Jeep Off-Roading
Take to the trails with up to four passengers as an experienced instructor guides you through a course designed to familiarize you with the vehicle. Each passenger will have the chance to drive portions of the 20-mile trail of rugged terrain.
Ride-Along Jeep Off-Roading
Enjoy all the thrills of off-roading with an experienced driver. This 30-minute trail ride begins on our rocks course before heading into the backcountry.
Hardy Girls’ Gym

Archery & Air Rifle Range

Upland Bird Hunting
The Rod & Range Club has 275 acres of hunting land available. A portion is planted in strips of grain sorghum and groomed for a relaxed hunt. The remaining acres are natural growth for a more wild hunt experience.
Junior Outdoorsman Package
This package is designed especially for the young outdoor enthusiasts. Each two-hour session includes air rifle, archery, and spinfishing lessons.
Eastern United States. From beginners to experienced anglers, we promise a thrilling fishing experience to remember. Anglers can choose from a number of Pennsylvania trout waters including the Youghiogheny River, Meadow Run, Dunbar Creek, and Beaver Creek, where brown, brook, and rainbow trout swim in numbers.
Spin-Cast Fishing
Ideal for beginners, spin fishing uses a spinning lure to catch fish. Classes are held on property ponds.

AREA ATTRACTIONS
Designed by the renowned architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, Fallingwater was originally a summer home to department store owner Edgar J. Kaufmann. Fallingwater, which was built over a waterfall, exemplifies Wright’s concept of organic architecture: the harmonious union of art and nature.
Kentuck Knob
Another of Frank Lloyd Wright’s homes, Kentuck Knob is privately-owned and open to the public for guided tours. Designed on a hexagonal module, Kentuck Knob is a small one-story Usonian house, a signature design of Wright. Both dramatic and serene, the house, situated just below the crest of the hills, appears almost part of the mountain itself. Visitors are invited to browse the landmark’s impressive sculpture collection and gift shop.
Duncan House
Built in 1957, this Frank Lloyd Wright design was dismantled from its original location in Lisle, Illinois, and moved to Polymath Park Resort, where the Duncan House was reconstructed on Westmoreland County property. After many months of complex craftsmanship, the home is a stellar example of Wright’s vision.
Great Allegheny Passage
Ohiopyle State Park also offers miles of hiking and biking trails including the Great Allegheny Passage, a flat trail that connects Pittsburgh with Washington, D.C.
Fort Necessity
Built in the summer of 1754, Fort Necessity is the inaugural site of the French and Indian War. Visit the battle site where a young George Washington was soundly defeated, and wander through the Visitor’s Center, a reconstructed Fort Necessity, and the Mt. Washington Tavern. Located just 10 minutes from Nemacolin, the park is open daily with guided tours available.
Flight 93 National Memorial
The Flight 93 National Memorial honors the actions of the passengers and crew of Flight 93, which flew on September 11, 2001. It is in place to protect their final resting place and to tell their story. Because of the actions of the 40 passengers and crew aboard Flight 93, the U.S. Capitol attack was stopped.
Ohiopyle Adventures
Ohiopyle State Park is just a scenic, 10-minute drive from Nemacolin. Ohiopyle encompasses 19,052 acres of rugged, natural beauty and 14 miles of the Youghiogheny River that pass through the heart of the park. Our friends at Ohiopyle Trading Post and River Tours offer whitewater rafting tours, guided float trips, kayak lessons, and bike rentals.
Laurel Caverns
As Pennsylvania’s largest cave, Laurel Caverns is a 430-acre geological park offering adventure seekers nearly three miles of twisting, turning passages. Adventure into the earth, and discover fantastic, natural sculptures deep within the catacombs.
