Real world, with real friends, real pets, real family
…and real children’s problems.
A moment of worry or a fear of the unknown
A problem is just a wobbly moment and all kids have them at some time or another.
NELLY JELLY is no different to any other child.
She’s loves to play and explore, but when things go wrong or she has a wobbly moment… …that’s when the ‘magic’ happens!
You see, NELLY JELLY has two friends that live in a monster world.
A world NELLY never visits - humans just can’t get there.
But her two monster friends can visit our world 3Megos
SO… when Nelly has a problem
The monsters stop what they’re doing and burst onto the scene,
It’s– time to go rescue NELLY JELLY
Well at least try to…
But NELLY JELLY is the driver of her own story
The monsters don’t solve the problem for her.
Because of their ineptitude, they just make things worse.
But when things go wrong, it always turns out the “wrong” helps NELLY JELLY solve the problem.
NELLY JELLY is a young girl with a strong personality and HUGE imagination.
Good-hearted, determined, optimistic and, whatever the chaos around her, she never gives up. But her optimism sometimes outweighs her abilities.
After all, she’s only 6 and when you’re only 6 you just can’t help running into a problem (or two) …and that creates a call in the monster world.
It’s time to rescue NELLY JELLY
JIM and JAM are NELLY JELLY’s best friends.
JAM is loving and protective, positive, happy and innocent.
Monster powers include super-strength.
But it often goes a bit too far (hence her catchphrase “oops my bad!”).
JIM is. neat, analytical and a little tense, Clever in a ‘book learning’ kind of way and considers himself to be very wise.
But he’s only got one book
‘The Big Monster Book of Humans’, which isn’t always accurate so he’s constantly correcting it.
Grown-ups never see NELLY’s monster friends,
But her best friend MATTEA and her dog TEEJAY can
They’re not invisible to grown-ups, NELLY’s parents just somehow miss them.
But the monsters are no secret.
NELLY always tells her MUM and DAD about her Monster adventures
…and they’re always delighted to hear her hilarious monster tales.
