The STEM Academy is a grades 6-12 magnet program that puts students on track for college while embracing a love of science, math, technology and engineering. Students receive instruction in core content areas and advanced STEM electives. The program is housed at Nimitz Middle School and Legacy of Educational Excellence High School.

DATA is a grades 6-12 program that provides students with rigorous college preparation in both core and elective courses. Coursework emphasizes career and professional readiness in the fields of animation, audio/video production, graphic design and digital arts, and video game design. The program is housed at Ed White Middle School and Roosevelt High School.
Space and Engineering Technologies Academy (SETA)
210-356-4733 (ms) / 210-356-2317 (hs) neisd.net/seta SETA, in a groundbreaking partnership with NASA, will help prepare students for engineering careers of tomorrow. Coursework includes aerospace engineering, aviation technology, mechanical engineering and more. In its inaugural year (2023-2024), it opened its doors to a sixth and ninth grade class. Each year, additional grades are added until it is a full grades 6-12 program at Krueger Middle School and Roosevelt High School.
Institute of Cybersecurity and Innovation (iCSI) 210-356-1201 neisd.net/iCSI
iCSI is a hands-on, interactive magnet program for high school students interested in computer programming, network security, network engineering and cybersecurity. Due to its innovation, it has become a model for other schools around the world. Students travel to the facility from their home campus by bus or personal vehicle for part of the school day.
