Students interested in a career in teaching can earn more than 20 dualcredit hours. NEISD has partnered with the University of Texas at San Antonio for this innovative program.
With a high demand for professionals in this career field, students will get a competitive edge as they receive training in construction, HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing and welding in this program.
Students gain knowledge, skills and certifications in the career fields of EMT, Nurse Aide, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Assistant or Dental Assistant, with the opportunity for real-world experience.
Students work with state-of-the-art equipment and trained professionals to learn the latest skills in the automotive industry. They can also take courses in diesel mechanics and work hands-on with these engines.

This college prep program provides specialized curriculum for students interested in engineering. It provides dual-credit opportunities and involvement in national competitions.
Students from any NEISD high school can apply and will have access to instruction in state-of-the-art cybersecurity and networking classrooms, as well as advanced technology resources that build personal and professional skills.
KSAT is open to students in grades 6-8. It includes Pre-AP/GT core curriculum and engineering/technology electives, and is best known for its rocket launches and NASA projects.
AMP features instruction areas, such as agricultural business, plant science, food processing, veterinary technology and more. It’s also home to Texas’ largest FFA organization.
