broad education to appeal to as many people as possible. School has put a lot of people off learning because when they were kids they ended up learning a lot of stuff that was not interesting. Or they were taught by uninspiring teachers that made the subjects and the learning process dull, and as a result of it many people don’t think that learning has any value when they leave school. Often schools will teach kids stuff that is of no use later on in life. Some of the time that is spent teaching kids this information, should be spent teaching kids more useful information that you can apply to life later. Many people often think that because they didn’t learn anything that is useful to them now, that there is no need to educate themselves further. It amazes me that the education system will teach children things that are of virtually no value in the real world, and yet many kids leave school lacking self-belief, motivation and confidence to believe in themselves and their ability to be able to be as successful as they want to be in life. I think kids would really benefit from personal development training and positive thinking. Especially in their adult life. Most kids and adults, also fail to understand the real benefit of continuing to educate themselves throughout life and for many their education stops when they leave school or college. Some people will go through the education system and get degrees in subjects that that have no value and they end up only being able to get a job in say McDonalds serving burgers. I am not in way criticising McDonalds, because I think it is a great business. Or having a job there, but I am illustrating that getting over qualified in something that employers don’t value, so you end up getting a job that you could have got in any case without having years getting that qualification is a waste. Ask yourself what have you learnt since leaving school that you have taught yourself? What did you learn yesterday? What did you learn last week? What did you learn last month? What did you learn last year? The great thing about learning and reading when you are an adult is that you can channel all your energy into what you want to be more successful in. So now the reading and the learning absolutely has a purpose. If you read and learn in the specific niche that you are looking to be successful in, it will change your life. As well as this it is also good to include personal development and training. When people leave school, or graduate from higher education courses at colleges and universities many never read another book. Some statistics I have just come across are quite interesting to read. In the United States 43%of college graduates never read another book after leaving college. One-third of high school graduates never read another book for the rest of their lives. 80 per cent of U.S. families did not buy or read a book last year. I would think that these stats are similar in most developed countries. How unfortunate that so many people have stopped growing and learning and striving to be better. What’s more the education process is failing on a basic level to make people realise why they need to be educated and why they should continue to educate themselves in the future, It is a real shame that people don’t read, because you need to always be growing in life, and always be learning, and always developing, and always becoming better than you have been up to now. Reading the right sort of books provides the information to allow this to happen. I came across some information recently that said that if you don’t read and learn then you will stand still in life and not progress. This might have been the case 100 years ago but I don’t think that this is correct anymore. If you look at a lot of older people who have stopped learning, in many cases they have been left behind with computers, the internet and technology and things. It is hardly surprising that some employers will discriminate against people above a certain age sometimes. The only reason that this has happened is because the older people have let it happen and they have given up on reading the right information and learning. Often this is mistaken as a consequence of old age. But it does not need to be like that, Is that how you want to be when you are older? What if you have a choice? Have you ever thought about what the term ‘old-fashioned’ and what it means. According to

the Oxford English dictionary the definition is ‘in or according to styles or types no longer current; not modern”. Technology is not going to stop progressing and changing the world around us. If look back over the past 50 years, the world has changed a lot, and is a very different place. This change has been brought about primarily by technology which has reached into every area of every industry and most people lives. Technology will continue change things in the future. So I believe that even if you don’t educate yourself and do nothing you will stand still at that point in time. But time doesn’t stop moving forward, so you get left behind. Effectively you go backwards because equivalent people to you know just a bit more than you, each year as they leave school and they don’t educate themselves because they learn things that are just a bit more up to date. Over time the gap gets bigger and bigger and eventually you become an intellectual dinosaur. The only constant is change. We might not feel the change at any given moment but over a longer period of time that is what happens. Therefore it is very important that you continue to educate yourself at a very minimum to keep up. But why not strive for more when it is with in your grasp. Don’t settle for being less than you can be. There are many successful people who are readers, If you look at successful people and think they have got to where they have got to by luck, then you are wrong. In most cases they have created their own luck by making decisions and taking actions so they could achieve what they have achieved. Most successful people never stop learning and getting advice and growing as a person. Leaders are readers. Successful people are constantly learning and reading. Some well-known successful people who are or were readers, and I do say were because they are dead now, include Bill Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, Steve Jobs, Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Edison, Barack Obama, David Rubenstein, Warren Buffett, Jeff Bezos who is the founder of Amazon, Madeleine Albright - the first woman to become the United States Secretary of State, Mark Zuckerberg obviously Facebook and Bill Gates. In fact Bill Gates is such an avid reader he has a huge library in his house. David Rubenstein is an American financier and is the co-founder of The Carlyle Group, a global private equity investment firm. According to the 2013 Forbes ranking of the wealthiest Americans, Rubenstein has net worth of $3.0 billion since the sub-prime crisis recovery. “The ability to read and the love of reading has got me where I am today,” said Rubenstein, who reads six to eight books a week. So why don’t people read? A lot of people have busy lives and don’t make enough time to fit reading in to their lives and as a result their lives suffers. Obviously there are lots of things in life pulling on your time bandwidth. But people fail to realise that if they read they can improve their life, so that they can have a better quality of life in the future than they have today. So it is worth the time investment. So what should you read? Many people will read, but read the wrong types of things and as a result they don’t improve their lives. There is little value in reading trashy novels for example. It is important to focus on reading books that are going to improve your life in whatever it is you want success in. Read motivational and inspirational books, read self-study, read Biographies of successful people. At the end of this video I have some information for you that will provide you with the right information to create success in your life. A lot of people in the Internet Marketing industry and the Network Marketing Industry talk about the benefit of continuous selfdevelopment and self-improvement by reading, listening to audios and doing training and yet few people actually do it. Then they don’t find the success that they are looking for which is hardly any wonder. Personal improvement is critical to your success. People often fail to make money in business and online because of these two things. Personal Development and also their Mind-set. You have to have the right mind set and want to grow as a person, and become a better person each day and become a more positive person each day. You have to learn to be the type of person that attracts other people, someone who can sell yourself and or other products. We are all sales people really, even if you don’t sell a product, you have to sell yourself. If you are selling a product, no one will ever buy anything that you try to sell them unless they buy into you first. You can always do better in life. The majority of people underachieve in life. If you want to change, you have got to change. You will stay stuck if you think that the same thinking that has got you to where you are is going to get you out of it. You have to change. If you do what you have always done, then you will always get what you have got. You are not going to get a different result if you continue doing the same thing. Focus on reading about things that are in your field of interest so that you are constantly feeding your mind with information, ideas and concepts. Not negative newspapers or trashy novels. To make a change in your life, you can’t just sit there and wait for it to happen, to hope it will happen, because in most cases, it probably won’t. What you have to do is make the change happen by taking action. To be the best at what you want to be successful in, you have to learn about it. If you don’t know anything about the thing that you want to do, then you can’t become the best. If you want to improve your life, then you need to make a decision and commit to read a

small amount every day and then stick to it and do it every day. I would recommend that you read for at least 30 minutes a day and read a minimum of 15 pages. You can read more than this if you want to. But I wouldn’t recommend that you read less than this. So should you read or listen to books? I recommend reading instead of listening to books. I have tried both. I find that reading a book makes you concentrate more than when you listen to it being read to you. Because when you listen to it being read to you, you tend to try to do other things, or think about other things at the same time and you get distracted. And before you know where you are, you did not even register what has been said to you. You can always listen to audios as well but not instead of reading. There is isn’t a reason for anyone not to read books, because they are more accessible for everyone than ever before. You can by a book in your local bookstore, buy them online, or borrow them from a library. As well as this you can also download on the internet and read on a tablet or on kindle or on your PC or other device. No matter what you are doing whether you have a job or you run your own business by reading you will learn more and create ideas that will further your success. Most people are complacent with where they are in life. If you are happy to fall behind in your life then that’s cool. It’s your choice. I believe you should not stay stuck and you should always want to move your life forward. Reading fuels your mind with ideas. When you don’t read you aren’t fuelling your mind. When you get in to the habit of reading you then need to apply what you learn and take action to improve your life. Whilst there are many people who are not well educated, there are also many people who are highly educated and who never take action. You must apply what you learn and take action. The first thing you need to do is feed your brain with information that is going to inspire you. You can read, you can listen to audios, you can train yourself. Then you need to take massive action to make it happen. To achieve the success that you are wanting. You get out of life what you put into it.
