Health and Safety is at the forefront of Peninsula’s growth with a 25% increase in sales with Health and Safety element over the past 5 months. You are part of a well performing team, thank you for you continued efforts. Below is just a very small selection of some of my favourite feedback that has been received recently.

1110 Legal Updates Theo Blauciak Irwell Law A qualified Solicitor with over 8 years’ experience working within the legal, regulatory and compliance sectors, notably, as the Head of Legal and Compliance (in-house solicitor) for the UK and Ireland’s largest award-winning employee wellbeing provider, Health Assured. Theo currently practices as a private practice solicitor with Irwell Law, supporting the Peninsula Group and its clients across the public, private and third sector. Theo is regularly instructed to act on a range of Health and Safety, fire safety and hygiene matters involving prosecutions brought by the HSE, Local Authority and the CQC. 1514 The H&S advisory service is dedicated to providing clients with competent H&S advice and strives to provide super client service. The advisory service offers clients support around the clock 365 days a year. The session will explore the composition of the H&S advice team and specialist areas covered. It will look at what qualifications framework the advisors are required to undertake and a progression route that they follow. The team works collaboratively well with our client basis and assists clients achieve H&S compliance. In particular advisors assist clients create safe systems of work providing risk assessments and method statements. They also develop and design elearning training materials and courses fit for client personal use. Advisors assist client meet SSiP scheme approval in seeking application and inserting required health and safety content. The advisors write articles for journals and publications in the health and safety world. And update clients regularly with updates and relevant changes. CAS289 Mimi Moghaddam visited Cass Art Islington Store for aa Health and Safety visit on the 18th May. Every single visit by Mimi is absolute pleasure - her support, advice and insights are outstanding. Also, Mimi is very accommodating and understanding - I know her since I joined Cass company 5 years ago - and she has provided consistent support throughout. She is very personable and professional, also quick responds to any emails or queries that I might have throughout the year. Every time she goes above and beyond to ensure that Health and Safety is 100% fulfilled in our stores. She is an absolute asset to the company and deserves every possible praise and reward!

CRO356 I was visit by Rehana Saloo (Health and Safety Consultant) on the 21st June 2022. She remined profession and carry out her consultancy with due diligence in the manner that I best understand the processes. She high lighter the importance of health and safety with the scope of our business premises and carry out with checklist to identify any short fall within our office based on health and safety. She explained in detail on some areas where needed addressing and how it should be done, especially on documentation and keeping accurate records. Overall, I was very pleased with the visit and would like to thank Rehana for her professionalism.

Thomas Edgar visited the surgery to conduct a health and safety review which was extremely helpful, and he provided a wealth of knowledge. He was aware of how busy i was and did not stay overtime which was appreciated. He followed up on his actions in a timely manner.

The company has been using Peninsula for a few years now and genuinely look forward to a visit from George Cooper. He was extremely helpful whilst on site and gave time to explain the process and to show the new staff how their website works and where to find information. Its always good to know that we have support online and at the end of the phone, but you can’t beat a face to face discussion and the personal touch that we get, especially having built up such a good relationship with George over the years.
