Kids have a natural instinct to be creative and they’re not afraid to experiment. So what could C CHILDREN love to use their hands to shape and mould; they love discovering shapes and colours and seeing their imagination realised on a page or in a sculpture. That’s why the children’s art classes at Gallery Lane Cove + Creative Studios are so popular and such a good idea. be better than channeling that imaginative energy into art?

Most courses last from 7 to 9 weeks, one afternoon a week, and are aimed at kids aged 5 to 12 (some allow older kids).

They cover an exciting selection of disciplines including art, craft, art history, creating with clay, machine sewing, puppets, and painting.

Kids don’t only learn technical skills, but also how to follow instructions, invent and experiment and turn their inspiration into a creation. They watch and encourage and are motivated by the other children in the course.

Art is very rewarding and a wonderful way to stimulate imagination and learning. And handmade artworks make great gifts! For more information visit www.gallerylanecove.com.au
