he Sisters and staff members of the Daughters of Wisdom show a strong commitment to a clean environment through the regular care of their Keep Islip Clean adopted spot at the Maple Street Dock in Islip. The group held a special Earth Day Cleanup and removed items found near the water, such as cigarette butts, Styrofoam and plastics. Their volunteerism helps keep not only the dock, but Orinoco Creek, cleaner.
