WBJEE 2018 Application Form, Registration, Fee Updated On - April 7th 2018 by SHIVANI TIWARI WBJEE Application Form was available from December 19, 2017 to January 19, 2018 at wbjeeb.nic.in. How to Fill WBJEE 2018 Application Form?

The application form for WBJEE 2018 has to be done online only. The guidelines for making WBJEE Application Form are available here. The detailed procedure for completing WBJEE Application Form 2018 are mentioned below:

Step 1: Fill the WBJEE Application Form 1. Visit the official website at www.wbjeeb.nic.in 2. Register for WBJEE 2018 with Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name and Date of Birth.

3. Fill the personal information such as Nationality, Religion, Income Category, Address, Exam Centers (choose 3) and Academic Details.

4. Choose the Security Question and create a Password.

5. Review the application form and make changes (if necessary).

6. Submit WBJEE Application Form.

7. An email/SMS will be sent with the Generated Application Number after submitting the form.

Step 2: Upload Images and Documents 1. At this stage, the candidate has to upload scanned images of their recent colour photograph and signature all in one go.

2. The photograph should be recently taken so that it matches with the candidate’s physical features.

3. The format and size of the scanned copies should be as follows:

Low-quality images are not acceptable and are likely to be rejected.

Background of the photograph must be light in color.

The face of the candidate should occupy at least 50% of the entire space for photograph looking straight to the camera.

Spectacles of dark or tinted glasses in photograph are not acceptable.

Copy of the same photograph needs to be produced for entering the examination centre, during WBJEE Counselling, admission, registration with the university etc.

Step 3: Payment of fees After uploading the images, the candidate will be redirected to the payment section.

The application fee for appearing in WBJEE is INR 500for all the candidates.

  

The application fee can be paid either in online mode (Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card) or offline mode (using Allahabad Bank e-challan) with Core Banking Services.

WBJEE application fee is non-refundable.

As per the mode of payment selection, Bank’s Service Charges will be applicable.

Step 4: Confirmation Page On successful completion of all the steps, candidates will be automatically redirected to the final step- Downloading Confirmation Page. WBJEE Application Form is not complete until the confirmation page is generated. The page contains information as given by the candidate. And same will be reflected in admit card and rank card.

Important Instructions It is essential to follow some basic instructions before filling WBJEE 2018 Application Form.

The form must be filled accurately and correctly. Hence, refer to these guidelines below:

Make sure the information you provide is true and correct. Forms with incorrect information will be rejected.



Do not divulge security question and password to anyone and use it for all future logins.



While uploading documents and images, adhere to the specified format and size.

Forms with poorly scanned images will be rejected.

Make sure your signature is not in CAPITAL letters. Upload your signature in running handwriting.



Be careful in choosing your district and exam zone. Check WBJEE Exam Centers

Candidates applying through quotas must provide all relevant documents at the time of document verification.

Registration for WBJEE 2018 is all online. No documents shall be sent to the Board.

WBJEE 2018 Application Form FAQs Q. I forgot my login password, how can I access my WBJEE login account?

A. At the WBJEE login page, click on ‘Forgot Password’. Answer the security question (the answer must be the one which was provided at the time of registration). If the answer is not remembered, then an email will be sent to the registered email id to reset the password.

Q. I am a student belonging to the reserved category. However, I selected the general category by mistake while applying for WBJEE 2018. I want to make changes to my category. Please help.

A. Yes, you can change your category from open to SC/ST/OBC when the Correction Window is open.

Q. How will I know if the scanned copies of my photograph and signature have been uploaded accurately?

A. You will be notified via SMS on your registered mobile number if there is any discrepancy in the scanned images you have uploaded.

Q. Is it essential to have a mobile number and a unique email ID? A.Yes, because all future communications will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID. Communications from candidates from any other mobile number or email ID cannot be considered genuine/official and hence are liable to be ignored. WBJEEB will not be responsible for non-receipt of any communication by the candidates if the mobile number and/or the email ID is found wrong/non-existing/changed.
