The CISI Level 6 Diploma in Corporate Finance Qualification Success Story is a 5-day intensive course which teaches you the skills and knowledge to successfully manage corporate finance. The course includes lectures, practical assignments, case studies and "Theory of Finance" sessions. At the end of each day, you will receive a certificate awarded by the University of Sydney. The course will prepare you for a career in corporate finance, investment banking or to further your qualifications as an investment analyst. The CISI is a course designed to provide students with an understanding of the financial markets. The CISI is designed for people who already have a working knowledge of basic concepts in finance and want to increase their knowledge in areas like corporate finance, financial modeling, derivatives, equity analysis and portfolio management. The qualification also covers the financial aspects of business strategy, corporate governance and legal compliance, as well as topics related to risk management, investment analysis and capital budgeting. The CISI is a modular course that is delivered over 13 weeks via distance learning (online) or onsite courses in Auckland. In order to achieve Level 6 qualification the candidate must complete 12 modules completing at least 50% of all units. The last 4 modules must be completed within a period of 6 months from the date of enrolment. Any candidate who wishes to undertake an in situ course will be required to meet the requirements set by their employer/organisation/institution and will require approval from the CISI Accreditation Committee.
