The Business School of Tecnológico de Monterrey has a commitment beyond its educational task: to fulfill the ambition of building a knowledge platform that contributes to the development and evolution of businesses and society.

To this objective, the initiative called “Knowledge that Transforms Business” has been designed to combine three fundamental elements: the intellectual capital of the Business School, a new research model, and a robust ecosystem of Strategic Centers. Therefore, with the participation of a valuable group of researchers and experts in different fields of knowledge, the Business School contributes significantly to facing the main challenges of the industries.

As part of the new research strategy, aligned with the vision of the Tec in 2030 and the 2025 Strategic Plan, the focus has been creating and disseminating collaborative and applied research that positively transforms society and industries and contributes to the country’s development.

From the ecosystem of Strategic Centers, companies and people in the business world are supported to boost their human and organizational development. To achieve this, services each provides in the different areas of their work and purpose are available.

In this sense, Business School of Tecnológico de Monterrey honors the commitment to relationships with companies and institutions that distinguishes it and to Tecnológico de Monterrey, believing in the significance of forming bonds of shared value that serve those who trust in our School.

“Knowledge that Transforms Business” triggers the generation and usage of knowledge to improve the world in which we live and design new scenarios for the future.

OUR RESEARCH MODEL I.

TOWARDS A NEW RESEARCH MODEL AT TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY

Research at Tecnológico de Monterrey generates new knowledge using the scientific method and following a peer review process.

We also seek that it results in entrepreneurship that creates solutions to the main problems that our country and the world are facing. That knowledge will be useful to different fields and disciplinary areas.

Following our vision, research at the Business School is interdisciplinary, collaborative, innovative, inspired, and focused on solving organizational and social challenges and difficulties.

In alignment with our vision, the Business School’s research strategy contributes to solving the most urgent problems of organizations and society, and its objectives are:

PURPOSE

To actively contribute to the development of an inclusive financial ecosystem in Mexico and Latin America by promoting “financial fair play” through research, dissemination, collaboration with initiatives, and academic activities that positively influence education, culture, access and use of financial services for the benefit of the most vulnerable segments and communities, especially women, micro-businesses, and migrant families.
