Report cards on academic and pastoral aspects are issued at the end of term 1 and term 2 in Grade 11 and at the end of term 1 and the mock examinations, in Grade 12. Two grades are awarded:
An achievement grade which is formed from a combination of continuous assessment (40%) during the term and the end-of-term examination (60%). A grade scale from 1 to 7 (seven being the highest), is used to report achievement grades.
An effort grade which is based on formative tasks and non academic parameters such as academic honesty, independent work, self-management, communication, creativity, class participation and collaboration. A grade scale A to D (A being the highest) is used to report effort grades.
Predicted grades are based on a student’s body of work matched to overall subject grade descriptors. There is a very close correlation between our predicted grades and the final diploma programme results. The predicted grades are generated once per student at the time of their university application.

AWARDS
Student Advancement Cell
The SAC supports services and provides opportunities to students through Learning Support, Social Emotional Wellbeing, College Counseling & Student Life. Neev is an inclusive school with students with mild to moderate learning difficulties. All students are supported for academic and executive functioning difficulties by the learning support team, academic teachers for remedial lessons and the school psychologist for behavior concerns. The college counselor works closely with all students of high school while student life is catering to all grade levels.
Individual and Collaborative Learning
Neev Academy offers individual and collaborative learning opportunities in Indian performing arts to keep our students rooted to the Indian cultural forms like Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Kalaripayattu, Basoori, Carnatic vocals, Hindustani vocals, violin and Indian percussion instruments. Students showcase their learnings on SrijaNeev, our community cultural fest.
Clubs and Activities
To drive passions and interests, Neev students take initiative to run and participate in clubs and activities such as Debate, MUN, Theater, Robotics, Coding, Pottery, Entrepreneurship, Music, Dance and many more during and beyond school hours. These efforts are celebrated with intra and inter school events and awards like the NeevAikyam, Ambedkar Debate Prize, Begum Rokeya Writing Prize, Chandrashekhar Science awards, NeevMUN and NeevHackathon.
Reading Initiative
Neev strives to build a strong foundational love for books. Our unique Reading team introduces books using a calendar of genres and works with teachers to build literature into units of study to broaden perspectives. These efforts are amplified with the Neev Literature Festival (NLF), the Neev Book Award, the NLF Reading Challenge and the RK Narayan reading growth award to spread the love for reading.
Learning Journeys
Thinking globally and acting locally, Neev keeps with the IB philosophy. Our students get opportunities for immersion in the traditions and culture of our diverse country. Learning journeys are embedded into the curriculum and allows students to understand the grandeur and reality of India; from Hampi in the south to Ladakh and Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab in the North, and from Gujarat in the west to Nagaland in the east. The trips are built around the concept of culture, self identity, historical enquiry, adventurous hikes and exploring regional identities with indigenous knowledge systems developed over centuries.
Student Government
The student government at Neev, has representation through all grade levels ensuring an active experience of the working of a democracy. Leaders range from the President to House captains & class representatives giving a good representation of the student body. There is also a programming and fundraising coordinator and a student led magazine - NeevTimes.
Sports
To develop a culture of sports and build strong school teams Neev Academy offers track & field, football, basketball, tennis and swimming. Our school teams participate and excel in many inter school and national competitions like ISSO games. We also host an inter school sports and cultural meet - Aikyam.
Academic Writing
Academic writing workshops at Neev help students analyze, think critically and focus on technique and style. Understanding writing imperatives makes it easier for growing learners to write papers and essays which they exercise through academic work, university applications, reflections, research and writing oriented internships and passion led research papers across learning areas.
Internship Opportunities
Over the years Neev students have interned at organizations in their areas of interest from the likes of Takshashila Institute and IDFC Foundation for the students interested in Public Policy to Mahindra Aerospace for the students who were interested in mechanical engineering. Some other organizations include - Investment firms FinTech Capital and HSBC, Research companies IBM and Frolle to advertising firms JWT and Dentsu Mcgarry Bowen.
