This design is inspired from the year rings formed around tree trunks. The motif is symbolic as it makes the reader reflect on how the students have grown over the years. Growth is perennial, natural, and the year rings depict a future which is built step by step (as visual layers).

Dear Neev Community,
The Neev IBDP Class of 2024 is our last set of students that studied at four campuses. This class started in grade 1 at three different early year centers (Indira Nagar, Whitefield and Sadashiv Nagar), came together for grade 2 at our tree filled, Core bungalow in Whitefield, moved in grade 3 to the grand Encore outer circle campus, and moved to Yemalur in grade 4. They are not just our largest DP cohort at 30, but also our most inclusive, relaxed and eclectic lot of learners.
Our strong learning support practice grew with the needs of many of the students in this cohort - one graduated in ICSE Grade 10 two years back and seven others with this IBDP class in Grade 12. These kids showed us the power of early intervention and what consistent and correct support - from school and home - can achieve. The whole cohort couldn’t have been a greater contrast from their perfect seniors. We are truly proud of this cohort, they make us who we are - a school that recognises the trajectory and destination of every human being is unique.
Cells and genes form us - 10 billion cells, containing 700 micromolecules, and 30,000 macromolecules each, all encoded by 3 billion DNA letters - giving us unbeatable complexity - but the power lies in how we put this to work beyond the capability AI is gathering, giving us uniqueness and imperfections. Discovering the uniqueness in each individual, can be ascribed to chance and serendipity, and yet we know the truth in Louis Pasteur’s quip, ‘chance favors the prepared mind’. The essential prerequisites of a prepared mind in the modern world are knowledge and technical competence, which is our job as a school. But it is equally our mission to build concern for the human condition with a compulsive desire to better it, and a lifelong learning capability with moral being.
The actions of our older children in student government, running assemblies and taking over not just events like language day but also large public ones like Neev LItfest with responsibility, starting the first Neev MUN, while winning heavily in sports and doing well academically, encourage us. Younger students show the seeds of community building, as our Indira Nagar K2’s did with Parikrama this year, individual kids in PYP do all the time, and some older students do as changemakers quite dramatically, continuing even as Alumni. Students at Academy have also emerged in National teams for science and debate, showing the many pathways to success. Many ICSE students have
moved to future pathways for Medicine and Engineering in India, even as IB students pursue these lines and many more in India, US, UK, Singapore, Canada, and other countries.
This generation has been named by many as the ‘Anxious generation’ as a result of how they handle the varied things flung at them - physically, virtually, cognitively, socially, emotionally, and ethically. But given our thoughtful community of parents, I can truly say that our lot have the potential of being very different, but for this we need to work together much more. Our future lies however in building a bent for community. We before me.
Neev is at a powerful place, with a great governing board and academic leadership council that inspire us to adapt our learning to changing times, and support us to build the campuses of the future - from 7 acres to 15 acres, and 130,000sft to 450,000sft at Academy adding a sports complex, auditorium and arts studios, special needs center and teacher training center by June 2026, New Neev Koramangla center with 10,000sft of purpose built early learning spaces - growing the learning opportunities for our students, and creating an institution that will be legacy. Campuses come alive not just because of current students, teachers and parents, but when growing alumni remain proud to belong to and own them. Our School management Committee, driven by parents and school leaders together, has set the stage for greater parent engagement and partnership in the coming year, to navigate a calm, resilient and impactful path for our children through a world that is increasingly polarized and anxious, but knowing that we don’t need to be that as we craft our own path to grow happy, healthy and impactful children.
A respect for individuality of every child lies at the heart of all we do at Neev, while focussing on what they read, what they learn, the relationships they build, the experiences and roles they remain open to, how hard they choose to push themselves, how honestly they do it all and finally what impact they seek in the world. We nurture our children to be change makers and our salvation lies in the potential of these children to change the future of India through the many, diverse professions they seek. Reflecting to learn from everything.
To a greater partnership, in pursuit of excellence in and for India!

I think that I would want to solve the poverty affecting thousands of people around the globe that means they don’t have the necessary resources to live an enjoyable life.
I really want to solve it since in Egypt I saw that this kid and his Dad were in such need of money that the 11-year-old was driving an auto- rickshaw in a dangerous way. This could result in a crash. As well as that, so many people are homeless worldwide or live in unhygienic slums. These people don’t have amenities we take for granted, like clean water, A / C, A proper roof, Heating, and good

Peek into the past year at Neev Academy’s Senior School, where our Middle School crafted a harmonious blend of curriculum design, assessments, pedagogical practices, and pastoral care within an internationally minded framework. This approach nurtured and challenged students, sparking wonder and deep thinking, encouraging exploration, and broadening perspectives.
In High School, this philosophy continued to flourish, promoting feedback and reflection for continuous growth. Our students engaged in rich disciplinary learning intertwined with humanizing elements such as compassion, intercultural respect, creativity, metacognition, and critical thinking. At Neev, we are dedicated to shaping not just academically proficient students, but globally aware and compassionate individuals ready to make a difference.

15 years in this school, what can I say? I turned 3 years old here, and I turned 18 years old here. I have spent the majority of my life in these hallways and classrooms. The people in this building have defined a large part of who I am. This message is not to say ‘goodbye’, but rather to say ‘thank you and see you again’. I have so much to take away with me, so many memories and inside jokes.
There are too many highlights to cover, but my absolute favourite moments all took place during our trips. Eating burgers for a week straight in Delhi, almost dying in the death trap like Dzukou Valley, watching the stars together in Khonoma village, endless safaris and debates in Bandipur, watching Indian matchmaking in Chickmagalur, fighting over hotel room beds in Hampi and scaring each other in our tents in Gujarat. There are so many more and not enough space in the yearbook.
Our batch has always been a small one. I remember walking into the Whitefield preschool for the first time, with only 8 people in the class. The boys were fiddling with the smart board and didn’t notice me. I was confused and awkward, so I just stood there and read the paper lantern poems. When I found a desk to sit down at, the first this I expected was “Hi! What’s your name?”. Instead, I got “Are you Chinese?”. Suhaani and I have laughed about it to date. Suhaani, thank you for being impulsive and crazy with me. Your honest opinions and advice have got me through hard times. Ananya, you have always shown the positive side of things. Aryan Jude, you have been a pillar of support these past few
years. Rithwik, your sense of humour is unbeatable and you never fail to make me laugh. Last but not least, Sunav and Raghav, thank you for the numerous adventures and endless craziness you brought into my life. But of course, my journey would have been very different without the teachers who helped me get here. Starting with making polka dot elephants with Miss Benazeer, scaring Miss Vandana with bugs in the crayon trays, measuring our heights with Miss Manju and putting up the most extravagant and spectacular theatre productions with Vineet sir. The DP teachers have helped us through the hardest and most stressful time of our academic life. Miss Bishnupriya, thank you for believing in me and celebrating my victories with me. Miss Vaishali, you are by far the most passionate teacher I have ever met. Let it be improving our essays, a fundraiser or even planning a party, you don’t hold back. Hare Ram sir, you made me like a subject that I have feared for most of my life. Miss Rohini, you have been a mentor to me. Be it academics or my personal life, I could always look to you for help, and without hesitation, you would support me. You are also one of the most patient teachers I have ever met. I am not sure how you dealt with us at 8 in the morning for 2 years, but thank you for doing so.
I am going to miss this place. I am going to miss our music-filled bus rides, conversations during free periods, all of our inside jokes, as well as the people I experienced this with. I can only wish our juniors the best and hope that they have the privilege of experiencing such beautiful friendships during their time at Neev. This truly has been a spectacular journey I will never forget.
More than anything, Neev has been my home. For that, I will always be grateful.
“Will the teachers be scary?”. That was the first question I asked my mom when I was about to join Neev in Grade 5. To a 10 year old me, moving to a new school seemed like the most terrifying, horrible thing that could ever happen. The uncertainty that comes with leaving everything known behind, adapting to a new environment and hoping people will like you enough to be your friend was quite (read: VERY) scary. However, walking into that classroom, where 2 girls shouted at me to join them on their table and compliment my handwriting, it felt as though I was always a part of this school. As cliche as that sounds, it was true. That feeling of belonging, comfort and warmth still remains many years later and has shaped the person I am leaving as today.
To all my teachers, thank you for becoming our second parents and guiding us every step of the way. To Miss Vaishali, thank you for tolerating us every day while endlessly working to make sure each of us, individually, did the best we could. You made DP a lot less daunting and scary, to the point where you were more stressed about our exams than we were. I promise my time management will get better in university! To Miss Rohini, I don’t know how you put up with our hectic chaos everyday for 2 years at 8:00 in the morning, but thank you for always standing by us regardless and getting us out of trouble more times than I can count. To Miss Sheena, from socratic discussions to writing our own stories to understanding concepts, you made psychology even more enjoyable
and interesting than I ever thought it could be. Thank you for that, and for your incredible patience every time I decided to change my extended essay topic. To Miss Bishnupriya, thank you for reading my many hundred college essay drafts, being so patient and kind with my last-minute applications and giving us a safe space to come to. You were always there with open arms and the biggest smile, no matter what. It never failed to make my day better. To Miss Amita, despite having too many tenses to learn, thank you for always making Spanish classes fun and filled with laughter. To Miss Ainee and Ujwal sir, thank you for making math a little less intimidating and a lot more simple.
And I definitely would not have gotten through these past 7 years without my friends and classmates. To Francis sir, thank you for being the first person who believed in me. I still remember our first PTM, my mother was beyond worried about my math classes, and you just smiled at her and said “She’ll be ok ma’am, don’t worry.” I don’t think you realised how those few words meant the world to a fumbling, unconfident 7th grade Ananya. We mis you. To Amulya, thank you for being my best friend, my sister and my shoulder to cry on for all these years. Whether it was listening to me vent about school assignments for hours or giving me advice about anything and everything when I started spiraling, thank you for always being there for me and never leaving, especially when things got rough. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to have as my best friend. To Suhaani, I am so beyond happy and grateful that we got so close. You are the sweetest, most understanding and gentle person I know. I’m going to miss all our late night calls, learning hundreds of studies for Psychology, scrolling through Pinterest to look at food we wanted to eat and, more importantly, for being my anchor when I was lost. Sunav and Arun, thank you for staying up late to study Biology with me, even though we didn’t do that well in some of the tests anyways. Raghav, you never did let me focus in Spanish class when you forgot your textbook,
but thank you for making every class entertaining. Rithwik, I’ll miss your dry humour, that always made me laugh, at all my future lunch table conversations.
From enduring a 6 hour trek in Nagaland to almost getting run over by an elephant in Bandhipur, all my experiences at Neev have made me strong enough to leave all the comfort I have known and face the next chapter of my life with a smile on my face and my head held high.
So, this is it. Goodbye Neev! While I may be leaving, the memories, the good, bad and everything in between, will stay with me forever.
Ananya Arun.
Arjun Varma G 12A
My time at Neev which equates to about 16 years of my life has been detrimental to shaping who I am as a person. All the positive and negative experiences, forming relationships and doing work at this school has helped me learn more about myself. Every day at Neev has changed me, made me a better person as the learning process never really stopped. Every moment was to look forward to as I understood there is always something to take out of every experience to then grow. In terms of academics this school has made me understand the meaning of rigor and how it must be addressed with grit, honor and grace, but furthermore what it means to work in a social environment. Most people take this aspect for granted however I feel grateful to speak to new people, form relationships and understand new perspectives as this is what I will be dealing with for the rest of my life. School has really prepared me in this regard as I am now a custom to understanding people and relations.
During this journey there have been some formidable friends and teachers that I would like to thank including Sunav - A friend for life who will always be there during my ups and downs, AryanSomeone I can always rely on for advice, Pratyush - A person who can teach me any topic under the sun, Miss Chaitra - For believing in my entrepreneurial aspirations and Miss Bishnupriya - For helping me and discussing any concerns I have inside and outside school.
“Sixteen years at Neev feels like a lifetime, and in the best possible way. This school has become my second
home, and the teachers here have more than just educated me – they’ve challenged me, inspired me, and helped me discover who I want to be. From the countless field trips to the unforgettable school events, Neev has fostered my creativity and given me the confidence to step outside my comfort zone.
As I stand on the threshold of university life, reflecting on my journey at Neev Academy fills me with profound gratitude and nostalgia. Stepping into Neev in 11th grade marked a pivotal moment in my life, ushering in new beginnings, friendships, and experiences that have shaped me profoundly. I am immensely thankful for the unwavering support and guidance of all my teachers, who have been instrumental in nurturing my academic growth and personal development. From French to Physics, Maths to English, Computer Science to Economics, each subject was enriched by the dedication and expertise
Oprah Winfrey once said, “Do what you have to do until you can do what you want to do.” This quote resonates deeply with me as I reflect on my time at Neev. Every class, every assignment, and every extracurricular activity was a stepping stone toward my aspirations, preparing me for the journey ahead.
But beyond the academic realm, it is the friendships and bonds forged with my classmates that have truly enriched my experience at Neev. I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to each and every one of my classmates who have made this journey memorable
Pratyush, thank you for opening my eyes to the intricacies of the public transportation sector. Soham and Tejas Ramineni, your celebrations for our achievements in Maths and Physics added joy to my academic pursuits. Arjun and Aryan Varma, your generosity in feeding me outside of lunch filled me with
ecstasy. Ishaan, your funny news updates never fail to brighten my day. Samitha and Dhruv Gupta, thank you for your invaluable study sessions and support.
Ram, Tejas, and Pratyush, our volleyball matches were not just games but moments of camaraderie and laughter. The Nagaland trip stands out as a highlight of my time at Neev, where bonds were forged amidst breathtaking landscapes and shared adventures. Whether it was the exhilarating football matches or the treks through the wilderness, each moment was filled with laughter and camaraderie.
The Extended Essay camp was another testament to the resilience and teamwork of our cohort. Working tirelessly for two days, we overcame challenges together, demonstrating our commitment to academic excellence and mutual support. Tejas Boge, your sense of humor never failed to lift my spirits.
Rishik and Anvit, thank you for your unwavering friendship over the years. Raghav, Vishal, and Rithwik, your encouragement motivated me to strive for excellence in all endeavors. Sunav and Dhruv, your assistance in managing Arjun during French class was invaluable. Shaaun, Sid, and Sia, your kindness and warmth made every day brighter.
Neha, thank you for your support and guidance in swimming. Arun and Shankar, despite your towering presence, your kindness and camaraderie in English class were truly appreciated. Suhaani, Amulya, and Ananya, your infectious laughter and funny jokes added joy to our daily interactions. Arjun and Aryan Shah, your willingness to lend a helping hand with studies and resources did not go unnoticed.
As I prepare to embark on the next chapter of my journey, I carry with me the lessons learned and the friendships forged at Neev. I am deeply grateful for the experiences and memories that will stay with me for a lifetime. If I could turn back time, I wouldn’t change a thing about my time at Neev, except perhaps my grades. But even in that, I am grateful for the growth and lessons learned.
Thank you, Neev Academy, for being a beacon of learning, growth, and friendship and a school of Grit, Honor, and Grace.
I joined Neev back in 7th grade when the only things and classmates were interested in were video games. Thankfully, five years down the line, our interests have changed, and our trust and the bond we have with each other have grown stronger. From only talking about games to helping each other out for any kind of inconvenience, we have changed for the better.
During the years I have been at Neev, I have grown as a person, a friend, and a peer. I have formed the closest relationships with the people around me, whether it might be friends, teachers, or even the security guards who welcome me with a big smile every morning. The bus ammas ensured my safety and, due to all the noise in the bus, even my sanity. Even the lunch Suraj bhaiya made sure I didn’t leave school with an empty stomach. These people have been a crucial part of my life, and without them, I don’t think I would have been able to become the person I am today.
To my teachers, I thank them for the guidance, care, and utmost support that they provided me with throughout MYP and DP. They have been a constant motivator for me, pushing me to achieve the goals and dreams I had set out to reach. In MYP, the two teachers who gave me the courage to be social and proactive were Mr. Olwin Veigas and Ms. Vaishali Ghosh. Mr. Olwin helped me through all the difficulties I had with my low scores and inability to be proactive in class. He pushed me to put more effort into my studies, and I would credit his guidance and support as the reason I got a good e-assessment score. I’d like to thank Ms Vaishali for helping me to speak out loud and be more social. When she joined in
9th, I didn’t have a strong relationship with any of my teachers; she was one of the first teachers that I was able to communicate with freely and trust her guidance.
To my DP teachers, I’d like to thank you for all the hard work you put into helping me become a better student and also a better person. Mr. Karan Talgeri, my art teacher, you have been the most helpful and supportive mentor I could have asked for. You have helped me appreciate art in a better way and also helped me decide my future goals as an artist. The support you have provided has motivated me to work harder to get into top design colleges around the world, and the feedback I received has helped garner a more detailed understanding of what is expected from me as a student and most of all, as an artist. I’d also like to thank Ms. Bishnupirya for the effort she put into helping me develop my profile as a student. She was a constant motivator pushing me to strive for greatness; she never once doubted my capabilities and always gave me her assurance that she believed I was a strong student. Without her help, I would not be able to get into the number one design school in the world, my dream university. When I felt that I was not good enough to be in a top-calibre school, she helped me.
To my friends, thank you for the most fruitful years of my life. Amulya, thank you for all the amazing times we have had; you have been a friend that I can rely on and trust for everything and anything. You have allowed me to be my authentic self and have not judged me or viewed me differently, no matter what I do, and for that, I will be forever grateful. To Arjun Varma, Dhruv Karai and Aryan Varma thank you for being a group of guys that may not have the best humour, but we surely did have the best of times. From the get-togethers to the places we went to, we truly did have the best times. To Aryan and Arjun Shah, thank you for helping me out with any doubts I had in class.; I knew I could rely on you guys for anything. Since the three of us will be going to the UK, I know that our friendship will continue. To Tejas Naik, your sense of humour proved to be a good stress buster. Raghav and Vishal, whether in basketball tournaments
or riding a Yulu bike around Indiranagar, thank you for all the fun times we had and also the support you gave when it came to academics.
My time at Neev has been memorable,
Aryan Shah G 12A
me with college applications. Thank you for your support and belief in me. It was lovely getting to know you more and just dropping by the SAC lounge to have a conversation. Miss Bishnupriya, I will never forget the experience of chatting with you in your office, munching on a packet of biscuits you kindly provided, and diligently working on my application (perhaps excluding the last part). Your smile and lovely personality make me forget about all the stresses of life. I hope we can continue to keep in touch.
I truly am grateful and fortunate to be a student at Neev. It’s hard to believe that something that has been part of my life for more than a decade, is now coming to an end. Despite the whole journey being chaotic and bumpy, looking back, I only see the good moments and times. It’s only now, as I’m graduating and things are being put into perspective, that I realize Neev has taught me values that will forever be a part of me, and that they inherently have helped me become
I am lucky to have such great and inspiring teachers who push me to achieve my best. Miss Priya, It’s always a delight learning Geography from you. Thank you for being so compassionate and understanding to us both(Arjun and I). Thank you Hareram sir for teaching me the important life lesson that we learn more when we struggle. Your calm and kind personality is truly very admirable. Thank you Miss Neelam for your inspiring economics classes and for kindling my interest in the subject. Thank you Sunir Sir for the same and for enlightening me about Indian and Indonesian geography. Miss Amita, your classes are always joyful and light, which makes learning a new language less burdening. Thank you Alankar sir for putting up with our B6 batch classes. I will miss our conversations about Bangalore’s traffic. Miss Vaishali, your enthusiasm never fails to brighten my day. Olwin sir, thank you for your tremendous support and belief in me. Without you, I would still be the mischievous child I was back then.
I would also like to thank Miss Bishnupriya and Miss Parull for helping and guiding
Lastly, I want to express my gratitude towards my classmates. Vishal, Arav, Tejas(DS), Soham, Siddhant, and Shaaunak- The memories of the cricket group and online auctions still bring a smile to my face, and I appreciate all of you for making my journey more enjoyable. I still have flashes of our cricket game in Nagaland and DS’s ‘cracking’ shot. Im sure those present that night would understand the reference. Naik, Pratyush, Anvit and Rishik, it was great fun playing football and hanging out together. Aryaman Manik, you’re witty sense of humour and Aryan Shankar, your optimistic views on the outcome of my application and reassurance have helped make DP less stressful. Aryan Shankar, I hope our friendship continues through our next phase in life in the UK. Raghav and Vishal, your many achievements and strive for excellence have always been a source of inspiration to me to do my best. I also want to thank all my other classmates for being part of my Neev Journey. As we celebrate this milestone, I wish you all great success ahead and hope you have an enjoyable college life.
I would like to end on this note: Never give up on anything. Miracles happen every day!
To Batch of May 2024, Here’s to greatness.
Aryan Shah.

As I stand at the threshold of a new chapter in my life, I reflect on the profound impact of my time at Neev. These past two years have not only been a period of learning but a transformative journey filled with friendship, growth, and self-discovery. To my teachers, I extend my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support, guidance, and belief in my potential. To Miss Neeta, Your dedication to education has inspired me to strive for excellence. To Ashwani Sir, thank you for your mentorship and encouragement. Your wisdom and guidance have shaped my academic journey in profound ways. Now onto my classmates: even though some of you have been at Neev for twice as long as me, I immediately felt welcomed into this community, and over the past years, we have each grown and changed in our way. Thank you for being supportive, open, and loving throughout all of this. You have been more than classmates; you have been companions who’ve shared laughter, overcome challenges, and celebrated triumphs, creating memories that will forever hold a special place in my heart. As we part ways and embark on our paths, let us carry forward the values instilled in us by Neev - Grit, Honour and Grace.
To Pratyush, the first person I ever talked
To Arka Sir, I hope I have made you proud. In the last 2 years, you have inspired me to push myself in logical thinking, and have also entertained some of my shenanigans for the IA. Thank you for eternally making me curious about science and maths.
And lastly, to Colin Sir. Thank you for making my writing concise, clear and
I’ll stop now to be more clear and concise.
Neha S Viswanath G 12A
I have always believed that people are a result of their shared experiences, that we are all made up of a unique combination of all the people in our lives and the experiences we have shared with them, that is why I can say with certainty that my Journey at Neev even though quite brief has deeply impacted me, and has played a part in shaping the proud person I am today.
I still have the vivid image of my first day, being intrigued by the new culture and bubbly faces I saw all around me, and I am glad to say that very little has changed. With this chapter closing I am filled with gratitude for all those who inspire me every day. Ms. Rohini and Ms. Sheena, your graceful poise and energetic good mornings never failed to put a smile on my face every morning, and thank you for all the times you have stuck your necks out for our class, we are eternally grateful. Ms. Amita, I have never been great at languages but your calm candidness with funny sarcasm and warm understanding personality helped me get through all the tough Spanish classes. Ms. Chaitra, your bubbly personality has never failed to brighten my day, I will never forget all the solo girl talks, and thank you for believing in me when I could not. Ms. Vaishali, your energy is inspiring, thank you for bringing me out of my shell these last 2 years. Hare Ram sir, thank you for being the most patient teacher I have ever met even with our class’s “slowness”, math has been one of my most favorite classes this year and it’s all thanks to your sarcastic humor and amazing teaching. Alankar Sir, I think we
are still counting down the days till we do not have to deal with Aryaman ever again (just kidding), but thank you for opening my eyes to be able to see the world from the CS point of view. It truly is an amazing one. Ms. Bhavya, though we only spent a year together, I think we have spent the most time considering all the work my EE needed. Thank you for broadening my knowledge and love for biology. Ms. Bishnupriya, Ms. Parull and Ms. Swapna, thank you for letting me crash in your office whenever I needed it and for all the wisdom I gained from you. Sashi sir, Thank you for pushing me every time we swam, your early morning smiles and dedication to the sport of swimming are unmatched and one I will never forget. Finally, Sia, thanks for all the memories, I will certainly miss our coconut ice creams.
To all my classmates, who if I had to thank individually would take another 20 pages and since this message is already getting a little long, instead, I thank you for your support, for helping shape the person I am today, and for m aking me feel welcome from the day I entered till the day we leave, these are bonds I will cherish forever.
Now as I start this new chapter in my life I hold these experiences and people close while using the lessons they have taught me to guide the life that is yet to come. Finally to quote Thor, from Thor: Ragnarök “I choose to run towards my problems, and not away from them. Because that’s what heroes do.” Although I may not run towards my problems they always have a way of finding me. Hopefully I will be able to face them head-on, just like heroes do.
That’s all folks, Till next time, Neha S
Viswanath
I was lucky enough to be with a wide range of interesting and inspiring people in my seven years here at Neev.
I thank Miss Vaishali and Miss Ainee for instilling a love for English and Mathematics (respectively) within my occasionally stubborn and frequently stupid mind.
I thank Miss Sheena for nurturing my love for psychology (especially out of the syllabus), Miss Amitha for teaching me Tulu, and Ashwani Sir for somehow making Chemistry fun (sorry, Miss Bindu).
I thank Arka Sir for showing me the surprising ways Physics could be an analogy for real life (like us roaming around the classroom like degenerate electrons).
I thank Ujwal Sir for teaching me how to properly communicate my mathematical work, although I don’t think I learnt very well.
I thank Colin Sir for the lessons on Indian bird taxonomy (or onomatology? I’m not sure).
I thank Jeeva Sir for fuelling my passion for running and turning me into a life-long athlete and Anand Sir for riding the highs with me (and the team) throughout all those tournaments.
I thank Miss Bishnupriya and Miss Parull for guiding me through the maze of college applications and entertaining my often unrelated visits to the SAC lounge.
I especially thank all my classmates and
the many seniors and juniors who let me be me.
Ram Tewari G 12A
When I first joined Neev in the 8th grade, I felt a distinct shift from my previous school, as I had not only changed boards(from CBSE to IB), but also countries! However, never once did I feel out of place in Neev thanks to my wonderful peers, supportive teachers and interactive classes.
It’s been five years since then, and I would like to thank some people who made my journey at neev more enjoyable.
I would to thank Miss Vaishali for helping me enjoy the otherwise “whelming” subject of English. I would like to thank Arka sir for putting up with my laziness in Physics(My braincells were equal to the work done in a centripedal system).
I would like to thank John Sir for helping me realize the parallels between the past and the present through History(Were US really the good guys?).
Finally, I would like to thank my entire cohort for the unforgettable memories I have attained in high school. From watching certain shows in our trip to Nagaland(Miss Parull and Sunit Sir won’t forget) to triple riding a Yulu at 12 PM, I have made unbreakable bonds with a lot of my classmates, and learnt valuable lessons that I’m sure to carry throughout my life.
So happy I could explode!(not a pun) Ram.
Siddhant Bajaj G 12A
It’s not easy to say goodbye to a place I call my second home. From shifting campuses, to seeing new developments, it’s been a privilege to see the school grow. I thank the school for taking care of me for 15 years, for offering important values, morals and life lessons. As I step outside this safe ecosystem, I am taking away a bag full of memories. Some funny, some sad, some happy, and some important. But these memories are incomplete without significant individuals who make them meaningful.
I would like to thank Sunit sir, for making economics an interesting subject. Your real world examples, life experiences, dramatic use of vocabulary and your knowledge in the subject would truly be missed. I would like to thank Miss Chaitra for keeping up with my antics in the business class. You make anyone around you feel comfortable. I would like to thank Miss Amita for keeping up with my bad Spanish and helping me out with the subject. I would like to thank Miss Vaishali for making classes filled with energy and humor. Your passion for teaching and the subject is truly admirable. I would like to thank Hareram sir for guiding me through mathematics. I would like to thank Miss Bishnupriya and Miss Parull for always listening to my thoughts, understanding them, being available for us and guiding me in college applications. I would like to thank Miss Bhavya for being approachable, and making biology classes informative and fun. I would like to thank Olwin sir for keeping me on track and being my mentor for the past 6 years. I would like to thank all my teachers in the Neev Sadashivnagar Early Years campus and
teachers who have taught me from grade 2 onwards. You have seen me grow as an individual. You know my strengths, weaknesses, likes, dislikes. You know how to cheer me up.
Along the journey, I have made some incredible friends whom I share beautiful memories with. I would like to thank Arjun and Aryan shah for making my experience here memorable. Being my oldest friends in Neev, you guys play a significant role in my life. From arguing about silly things, to resolving those issues in minutes, we share a genuine and strong bond. I am looking forward to continuing this friendship in the future. I would like to thank Rishik, Tejas Boge and Dhruv Karai for always putting a smile on my face with silly jokes in between classes. I would like to thank Aryaman and Anvit for being always approachable. I would like to thank everyone who made our football tournaments outside school memorable. I would like to thank my classmates who have made my school trips memorable. The bond that we created in those trips would always be with me. Finally, I would like to thank everyone who has been there with me on this journey. I wish all of you happiness and success in the future.
Till we meet again, Siddhant Bajaj
Suhaani Haque G 12A
When asked about my memories at Neev, it is hard not to journey back to where it all began, 15 years ago. A little toddler running into Miss Benazeer’s arms every morning as her tight and warm hugs instantly brought a smile to my face. Our afternoons, where Miss Noni would surprise us with some new snack every week (remembering the pizzas), and the nine of us would play Spiderman in the little sandpit. And our evenings, where we would stand outside the school, petting a little puppy in a box as our mothers chatted for hours under a tamarind tree that towered us all. 5 years I spent in this preschool. 5 years where Neev became my second home.
While Neev has changed drastically over the years, the warmth and comfort has still remained. And that, I attribute my teachers throughout my time at Neev and of course, my friends. Miss Vandana, I will forever remember and miss your story time sessions. Miss Tamoshi, I will now always have the lyrics to “Ek la cholo re” memorised in my head :) Vineet sir, I was a shy and reserved kid before our theatre classes. Whether it was through those neevotsav performances or through the ‘out of the box’ theatre games you invented, you made me a more confident version of myself. I will always cherish my time on that stage in PAS2 (or perhaps even the time behind the curtains - all nervous).
Miss Vaishali, you made 10th grade a bit less tiring, less stressful and less scary. Your bursts of energy and incomparable level of enthusiasm made our hours of laughter filled, yet somehow productive L&L classes something to look forward to.
To my DP teachers, each of you have been a pillar of support. Miss Neelam, thank you for making me believe that I can do well
in economics without doing well in Math. Miss Sheena, you have managed to make my favourite subject even more enjoyable. I’ll miss our circle time psychology classes (specifically the HL ones). Colin sir, two years of literature classes with you was definitely not enough. Your long passionate talks ranging from bird-watching to poetry is something I will dearly miss. Miss Rohini, I admire your ability to deal with our class at 8am and I thank you for your constant effort in waking me up every morning. Miss Amita, I’ll miss that endless laughter in our Spanish classes. To miss Bishnupriya, thank you for always keeping your door open to me and greeting me with that warm smile everyday.
I would not be the person I am without the people I grew up with. Amulya, from sitting on the monkey bars in the Neev Whitefield campus, to now graduating together, thank you for being a sister to me throughout my time at Neev. Ananya, you are the most kind, generous and relatable person I have ever met and I hope to continue to see your bright smiles for more years to come. Raghav, I’ll miss your endless jokes and book reccomendations. Our B5 economics class, thank you for being so supportive. I’ll miss those NYT games and that yellow porche. Kobs (rithwik) you never failed to make me smile, laugh and cheer me up when I needed it. Thank you. Lastly Sunav, for being there with me from day 1, 16 years ago, thank you for always having my back. Neev would not be the same without these special people.
At last, this message would be incomplete without a mention of our outbound trips. I will always remember the sights from Hampi, sharing food in Chandni Chowk, singing on the jeep rides through Kutch, being scared of caves in Aurangabad, dancing in Rajasthan, and stargazing on the terrace in Nagaland. Those trips are a core memory of my time at Neev. Thank you Miss Gouri and Miss Kavita, for giving us these experiences. Now I guess it’s time to make more. So, as Winnie the Pooh wisely puts it…
‘How lucky I am having something that makes saying goodbye so hard’ Suhaani :)
more than an English teacher and MUN coordinator. Ms.Vaishali, thank you for Sunav Bajaj G 12A
I hope this isn’t a delusion, but I don’t feel as though I am leaving this school. Neev is one of those things I can’t deny as a major component of my identity, who I am right now, and who I will be in the future. This message is not about me, rather it is about the people and ideas who I have had the privilege of surrounding myself with for practically my entire life. This is a message of gratitude.
I would like to thank Neev for giving me memories that I will cherish for years to come. The grand school trips for instance. Hampi, where I celebrated my birthday by getting a brain-freeze after eating far too much ice-cream far too quickly, or Delhi-Agra, where we roamed the streets of Chandi-Chowk, or Rajasthan, where the long bus rides felt less long with conversations about everything, or even the Northeast where I completed a trek without the soles of my shoes. On the other hand, the smaller things are what I will remember. Gallery walks in PYP, I&S or drama submissions which I spent far too much time on, building the MUN club one stayback session at a time, the football and basketball lunch games or just cracking jokes that will die with the batch of 2024.
To my dear teachers. Ms.Bhavya, for the one year that you taught and guided me, I am grateful for everything. From believing in my abilities, to discussing my IA far too many times, and most importantly to nurturing my love for the subject of Biology, I will forever be indebted to you. Ms. Ainee, I would like to thank you for having faith in me and being the reliable teacher I could talk to. David Sir, thank you for being
It feels surreal to think that just two years ago, I was walking through the doors of Neev for the first time. These past years have flown by in a whirlwind of learning, challenges, and unforgettable memories. As we begin on this exciting new chapter – university – I know I’ll carry Neev’s lessons and the friendships I made close to my heart.
I want to express my sincere gratitude to the teachers who have guided me on this journey. Arka Sir, your classes were a constant source of stimulation, pushing us to learn and strive for excellence. Thank you for instilling in me the value of aiming high and never settling for mediocrity. Ms. Amita, your classes were anything but quiet – they buzzed with your infectious enthusiasm and the joy of discovery. You showed us how seemingly disparate things could be connected, opening our eyes to the beauty of a multifaceted world. Ujwal Sir, your unwavering support, especially during difficult times, is something I won’t forget. From you, I learned the importance of humility and the strength it takes to be kind and helpful in all situations.
But there’s one person who deserves a very special thank you – Ms. Bishnupriya. Your door was always open, and your guidance on my future, my college applications, was invaluable. The conversations we had were a source of immense support, and I will cherish them forever.
Looking back, these past two years haven’t just been about academics.
The friendships I’ve made here are some of the things I’ll treasure most. The camaraderie on the volleyball court with Ram, Prats, and Manik –those sessions were more than just practice; they were a chance to bond, strategize, and celebrate each other’s victories. And the pick-up football games with Shankar, Karai, Arjun –especially Arjun, let’s just say they were an experience in laughter and friendly competition. The tournaments we played together as Rizz Academy were a true test of teamwork and sportsmanship, something that goes beyond the field. My school journey wouldn’t have been the same without Ishaan, Soham and DS. We shared the ups and downs of academic life together, from commiserating over tough grades to celebrating victories in the SAC lounge- by doing Math, Physics that’s above our level of understanding and also watching ElectroBoom getting shocked and burning his pants on an electric heated seat. Those were some special times.
As I take this next step, I’m reminded of a quote that has always motivated me: “Dream Big, Start Small.” This simple motto captures the essence of what I’ve learned at Neev. We were encouraged to set ambitious goals, but also to take the necessary steps, one by one, to turn those dreams into reality. That’s the approach I’ll take as I move forward, carrying with me the knowledge, the friendships, and the memories made at this special place.
Thank you.
Anvit Anand G 12B
Two years ago I walked into the Neev gates as an immature child learning about the world around him. Now I make a U-turn and walk out of the very same gates, this time as a mature adult. I will always continue to learn more about the world around me, that will never change.
I remember my first day in Neev, I arrived one week late in style like a Rajinikanth movie. However, I quickly realised I was far from a movie star and overwhelmed by the unfamiliar environment. While I did have a few old friends from Oakridge coming with me to Neev, I thought it would be really difficult to bond with others in my grade since friend circles were formed a long time ago. To my relief, they were all very welcoming and accepted me as a part of them unlike what I feared.
Fibbi and Samitha were my “buddies” when I joined but it was the Chikmagalur and Nagaland/Manipur trips that really allowed me to bond with everyone in my grade. I realised so many people have a lot in common with me. Over this journey, I have enjoyed playing music with Samitha, Vishal, Arun, Ram and many others as well as all our Rizz vs Magas games in football every lunch break with the whole grade.
I really want to thank my good friends Rishik, Naik, T1, Shaaun, Sid, Aryan Varma, Karai, and Ram for coming with me to football tournaments. While the results may have been embarrassing (top secret for a reason), you taught me more about teamwork and resilience, which helped us get closer together. Also, thanks for the birthday surprise Rishik,
for getting together the full grade. Hope I can return the favour.
Additionally, I want to thank you guys Arjun and Aryan Shah for rooming with me in Chikmagalur, Nagaland, and Manipur. It was fun sharing this and the extended essay journey with you and Manik. Also, it was really nice bonding with my Tamilian friends Pratyush and Vishal (Pratyush coincidentally came on a Maldives trip with me).
I can’t forget my teachers. While I was struggling to adapt to the rigour of DP, you all really helped me adapt to the process, enjoy the journey, and make me grow and mature as an individual. I also want to thank my counsellors Ms Bishnupriya and Ms Parull. With the impossible workload of managing college applications and internal deadlines, both of you made this possible and smooth for me.
I may not be here anymore but a part of Neev will always live inside me - the memories, nostalgia, and the values they instilled in me. Like all good things, this journey must unfortunately end, but whenever a door closes another one opens.
For the time being - goodbye Anvit

I’m leaving Neev, but taking a piece of it with me. I would like to bid farewell to all the incredible people that made Neev a second home to me.
Thank you Hareram sir for not only making all the math classes memorable but also for teaching me that learning is more than just getting a good grade. I am grateful to Ms Priya for always being kind and compassionate, and for helping me figure out the DP and better organize myself. I thank Ms Neelam, and Sunit sir for being two remarkable teachers that have made economics one of my favorite subjects. Thank you Ms Vaishali for having, by far, one of the most fun classes always filled with banter. I am grateful for Ms Amita, who is always ready to go the extra mile to make Spanish easier for us all. I am also grateful to Arka sir who helped me realize my potential and find my love for physics. I want to thank Ms Parull for never hesitating to help us out in our college applications. And lastly, I am grateful to Ms Bishnupriya for always hearing us out and creating a safe environment that felt like home. I remember how we would all cram ourselves into your office to complete all of our endless college applications. You have provided immense support during these hard DP years and I could not be more thankful for it.
I am grateful to have had some of the most amazing friends that made my time at Neev unforgettable. Thank you Vishal, Raghav, and Rithwik for being great company throughout my journey at Neev. To Manik, Anvit, Rishik and Naik, I have had great fun just hanging out and getting to know you all in the last few years. To Aryan Shankar, I hope that
we can continue to build our friendship in the future by studying in the UK. To Sid and Shaun, who have been with me throughout my time at Neev, thank you for creating several great memories to remember. Thank you Sam for making the long bus rides tolerable. And lastly, thank you Soham, Ishaan and DS for always making school more enjoyable.
I will always remember Neev for having given me the opportunity to get to know so many interesting people. Each one on a different spectrum of uniqueness.
I wish the very best to all my classmates in their future endeavors,
Signing off, Arjun.S

When I first joined Neev 2 years ago, I walked into a biology class taught by Babul sir and got hit with the question“are we just a sum of our cells?.” After recovering from the initial shock from the strange TOK connection I laughed the situation off and continued on. I thought we would move on and back to memorizing the next 40 pages in our textbook. But we didn’t. Everyday Babul sir would announce another biology connection I was unprepared for. And suddenly after 10 years of being completely unsure of the path I wanted to take, I was sure it was biology. In 2 months, I was convinced by a passionate teacher who held up a cool microphone in class on what I wanted to continue with for the rest of my life.
Although it was short, my last 2 years at Neev have arguably been the most influential phase in my school life. I want to thank Miss Bhavya for chasing after me after I delayed every possible extended essay deadline I could. Miss Vaishali for answering even my most basic questions. Miss Amita for staying back and supporting me 2 days before the exams. Hare ram sir for breaking down every math topic for me. Colin sir for making TOK one of my most enjoyable classes in the week. Miss Sheena for making sure I planned every test I took. Miss Nisha for letting me walk into the music rooms at random times in the day. And Miss Bishnupriya for supporting me through every step of my college application. The list could go on but from my first class with Babul sir every teacher I’ve had in Neev has helped shape the future that I want to pursue.
Past my teachers, each and every classmate in Neev has been welcoming since the day I joined. I won’t put down a list of each student because I’m sure they know but every basketball tournament, lunch break, and even detention from breaking into Vivum were unforgettable for me. To be able to have a different dynamic with each student in this cohort really told me just how talented and unique every one of them is, and I loved

I know no other reality. Neev has been my life since I was 2 years old. I’ve always looked at school as a ‘duty’ us children serve till a certain age until we are old enough to give purpose to our lives. Now, at the end of this journey, I see it as the most valuable chapter of character-building in the book I call my life. Although my story is nowhere near finished, I can confidently say these 16 years here dictate the friends I make in the future, the field I choose to get into, the passion I inherit and in general the decisions I make in my life.
Why did some aspects feel like a chore in school? People tend to hold on to things they don’t like because criticism is human nature, however, the reason is much more poetic than that. I believe that we can’t appreciate or value what we love until the threat of losing it becomes a reality. This school was something I lived with and came to love over these 16 years, and with every loved one comes inevitable differences. Courses, tasks, exams, and deadlines, were always challenging to overcome but compromise is key in any relationship. The fruits of these ‘chores’ were the simple 10-minute breaks with friends, waiting for lunch to come around, the warmth of our collective in a cold situation or the shared laughs from students and teachers alike.
The hard truth is that I can’t re-live these experiences and this chapter is coming to an end. As I am writing this, thoughts and memories that we’ve built are flashing in my mind. After the longest commitment in
my life, it’s beginning to feel too short. For all the emotions I feel there still is a light at the end of the tunnel. My future is uncertain but I can’t help but feel excited to learn and grow using the skills I learnt along the way. I can’t stay in the nest forever and that is what makes this departure bitter-sweet.
I would like to express my gratitude to all the familiar faces. My closest friends for cracking jokes on the worst days, the brothers like Sunav who corrected me, my sister for all the useless gossip, the grades below to show us that we can actually be called responsible (in comparison) and most importantly the teachers who acted as a second family. A special thanks to Miss Bishnupriya who believed in my potential when even I couldn’t. I hope I can make everyone proud.
The halls and spaces may change ever so often but Neev at heart is the same as when I first came, just as how as I grew up to be a young adult, at my core I am still that curious and shy kid which this chapter has taught me to preserve. Now I can finally say “I get to do what I want to do.”
On to the next chapter, Aryan Varma

Well, here we are at the end of a journey that’s been anything but ordinary. From the early days, wrestling on green dirt hills and typing away at summatives last minute on ManageBac, to when my biggest concern was whether my cartoons made sense, to this moment of reflection and farewells. It’s fascinating to see how we’ve all evolved within Neev.
It’s worth noting, just like many of us, Neev started small, in a big house, showing that even humble beginnings can lead to great achievement. The camaraderie during those intense football matches, the shared laughter in dodgeball games, and the afternoons we spent doing gardening work. The trip to Northeast India will always be a highlight, opening our eyes to stunning landscapes and vibrant cultures, and seeing the beauty of diversity and exploration. Such experiences, shared with friends, made every moment at Neev special.
As we stand on the brink of new beginnings, feeling excited for what’s ahead and fondly remembering the past. The corridors of Neev, once alive with our stories, will soon welcome new ones, as we step out to carve our paths. Before we part ways, I must express my gratitude to those who’ve been the backbone of this journey. Miss Divya, for sparking a journey of creativity all the way back in 4th grade; Miss Bishnupriya, for being a guiding light in times of doubt; Miss Vaishali and Olwin Sir, for making learning a pleasure; Babul Sir, for teaching us wisely and kindly and Miss Gouri, for all the shoutings she gave me, which in their own way, have shaped me. Your influences have been pivotal.
To my friends, who became family, thank you for every laugh, every challenge faced together, and every moment that made our school days unforgettable. The bond we’ve forged is one that won’t easily fade. So, as we go our separate ways, let’s just say we’re betting on the future, maybe not as grand as 5 million on red in a casino, but who knows? Life’s unpredictable like that. Here’s to embracing whatever comes next, carrying with us the lessons and memories from Neev.
It’s been real. Cheers to wherever life takes us next.

I have always viewed graduating as climbing over a wall at the end of a path. When I was younger I never knew what lay ahead of it and because it is human to fear the unknown, the thought always used to fill me with dread. I knew graduating from high school meant the end of my sheltered life and of my time at school, which at times was tiresome, but remained a comfort zone nonetheless.
I am one of the lucky few in the batch who have spent over 10 years in the school. 14 years precisely. For most of us, Neev is the only large school community we have been a part of. As we grew older we did branch out of school as well, but it has still been the majority of where our lives have been spent. While it is exciting to leave behind the tasks, deadlines, activities, and responsibilities we found unnecessary, it would be short-sighted to say that moving on would be easy.
After 14 years in the school, I can confidently say in any given situation I can find a way to enjoy my time with everyone in our batch and I do maintain a comfortable level of friendship with all 29 of them. This is a testament to how strong and tightly knit our batch is, even with new students coming in every year. These friendships have helped carry me throughout my school life and the even more challenging DP. I find myself incredibly lucky to have friends who are not only fun to be around but also who challenge me to push myself in ways I wouldn’t be able to, both in academics and personal capacities.
I am grateful for these friends, the countless memories we made, and
what I have learned from all of you. Be it spending every lunchbreak throughout a school year working on comics, laughing over rather disgusting incidents on school trips, last-minute memorization before exams, asking teachers aimless questions to avoid work (sorry), singing in the backseat of the bus, a room wrecking pillow fight on our first outbound trip, camping together in the forest and riding through Rann of Kutch in open jeeps. There are far too many to put in this note but when we meet we can always spend hours discussing them. Our time together has not only made school easier but also uplifted me through the many rough patches in school.
This note would also be incomplete without thanking the teachers I was lucky enough to have and learn from for these last 14 years. All of them, whom I have mentioned and might have forgotten played a huge role in the person I am today and I wouldn’t be in the position to write this if not for you. Miss Vandana for becoming almost a parental figure in the early years of school, making it an environment that was comfortable to learn in. Miss Divya for allowing my friends and me to put up our juvenile comic posters in class and encouraging us to develop our creativity. Miss Soumya for easing our transition into the MYP and making every I&S class very enjoyable. Miss Vidya for making L&L a highlight of the day and pushing me to be a better writer. Miss Gouri for being incredibly understanding and supportive (and strict when needed). Vineet Sir, for constantly providing opportunities for me to be a better performer and helping me get over some of my stage fright. Pradeep Sir, for keeping in touch even after leaving and bettering my artistic abilities. Krishnendu Sir, for our discussions about photography and trying to make a helpless maths student better. Miss Amrita, for being a teacher so kind that it was noticeable even online. Miss Vaishali, for sharing our love for food, complimenting my cooking, and helping me manage the film club. Alankar Sir, for tolerating us throughout our Computer Science classes and for ensuring that the windows had grills every time. Sunit Sir, for being your incredibly vibrant personality, and teaching style
and for being the official nurse during the Nagaland Trip. Miss Rohini, for being an incredibly understanding form tutor and kind teacher to interact with for the last few years. Miss Sheena, for being an incredibly compassionate teacher, checking in to see how I was doing every day during the stressful college application process, and being incredibly easy to reach out to during the school year. Miss Bishnupriya, for getting me through college applications when I was abandoned at the worst possible time by my counselor and for the endless cookies we enjoyed in your office. Last but not least, Colin Sir. From the first time, you taught us at the beginning of the MYP, we could tell your classes were the most different to any other teacher’s (in the best possible way). Thank you for changing how I view art and literature and for sharing some of your boundless knowledge, which has completely changed how I develop my work. You have perhaps had one of the largest impacts on me in my school life.
All my teachers and friends have made my time in school all the more better. Leaving school behind is a weird feeling. It feels like an incredibly long time that has also gone by incredibly quickly at the same time. I am not sure what my future holds, but I am incredibly grateful to Neev for preparing me for it. I can now see that there lays a door in the wall that was at the end of my path.
To capture it a little more succinctly: “ Often when you think you’re at the end

I have been in Neev since 2007. Every year that I have been conscious as a human being, I have been a part of this family. There is something special about being in one place for all your life. Watching people come and go, watching the environment change and grow, my fondest memories and my most cherished relationships sprouted from this school.
I still recall Miss Vandana teaching me the difference between “its” and “it’s” and my frustration when I kept having to change it in my kindergarten writeups. Climbing all the way up the encore campus’ sapota tree in second grade to avoid having to partake in ballroom dancing. Making friends with an ant we named Bernie and coming up with fantastical stories. Working with Rajesh sir and my seniors on magnetic levitation for my grade 4 Eureka project. All our field trips, basketball trips, treks, and novel experiences shaped who I am today, and I couldn’t have done it without my friends and family at Neev.
It’s remarkable that most of the 9 people who I came into grade 1 with are still here with me at Neev. That the teachers who brought me up like Miss Ainee did the same for my little sister. That our traditions like Neevotsav, Language Day and LitFest are still being carried out every year. That everyone knows everyone and that teachers would complain about how tight-knit this batch is.
Whether I go to college abroad, in India, or at all, I’m going to miss this batch a lot. Every student with me has their
own profound achievements, and I wish everyone the very best. I hope that in 10 years when we have our reunion, we’ll be in high places, have new stories to share, and rekindle the fires that Neev set light to in our hearts. I am grateful to everyone : my peers, my teachers, the SAC team, my juniors, my seniors, the Neev parents, the Ammas, our field trip experts, and everyone who has made me experience something new over the course of my school journey. I wouldn’t be who I am and where I am today without the Neev community.

Joining Neev was a very spontaneous decision, my mother encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone. I wrote the Neev entrance exam not expecting to get in, to my surprise I got in almost immediately after speaking to Ms Gouri and how she appreciates my honest nature.
Immediately I was very nervous because of this change, but surprisingly enough I was greeted and receptive very well by my classmates. I immediately felt a bond with some of them in the first week. As I start to think about a new chapter in my life, I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude for each and every one of you. Today, as we celebrate this significant milestone together, I want to take a moment to express my deepest appreciation.
Firstly I would like to thank various of my classmates for this journey. Initially I planned on thanking each one of my friends, however after further thought I realized that at Neev I feel like I am friends with everyone and each of my classmates have shaped me to the person I am today. Sounds cliche but it genuinely felt like a family. Throughout this journey my friends (they know who they are). From late-night study sessions to cheering each other on during exams, through football tournaments (which we lost badly) or through conversations above life advice, late night outings and even casual meet ups and from laughing in class to the point we cry. You all have been by my side, making this experience infinitely richer and more meaningful.
Your friendship has been a constant source of strength and joy, shaping
not just my academic journey but also my personal growth in profound ways, encouraging me to pursue this “academic back” of mine. As we part ways and go on in our individual paths, please know that the memories we’ve created together will forever hold a special place in my heart. I am immensely grateful for the privilege of knowing each of you and for the bonds and I know that some of us will always be friends and I’m truly grateful for that. As we bid farewell to this chapter and step into the unknown, I carry with me the cherished memories of our time together and the knowledge that our friendship will endure, no matter where life takes us.
I would also like to thank my teachers, not just the teachers who want to help their students get “6 to 7”, but ones who want to help all of their students. Firstly Ms chaitra for making her classes insightful and always believing in me when no one else did, going out of her way to help me whether it was to clarify doubts regarding my IA or EE or helping me to create a schedule for my finals. Ms Neeta, for having the most patience any teacher could possibly have, believing in me at my worst in term 1 to aiming at 6s or 7s. Sunit Sir for his humorous classes, which was always like a relief class as it was so fun, I would always be excited to attend, one of the best teachers I have ever had. I would like to thank Miss Rohini who gave us a lot of liberty when it came to helping us and I feel she made me push myself in the language. “Muchas gracias”. I would also like to thank Miss Namita, our grade 11 Spanish teacher, who also really changed my perspective on Spanish and gave me that hope that I can do well in the subject, whenever I did not believe in myself. Thank you to Miss Bhavya whose passion for teaching can be seen in class and in fact helped me manage to feel some interest in the subject. Thank you Miss Vaishali for the rollercoaster classes. Thank You Colin Sir for the interesting TOK classes. Special thanks to MS Bishnupriya, one of the strongest people I know. She always helped out students, irrespective of what was happening in her personal life. Thank you Olwin Sir as well.Thank
you Suraj who would always light up our lunch with his electric smile. To all my teachers I thank you for your guidance and for shaping me the way I am in academics.
I also want to thank the school itself for giving me the opportunity to try out new sports being a part of the school running team and soccer team, as I never knew my potential in these sports. I also have extreme gratitude for being the vice sports captain. This journey has surely been an unforgettable one, with many ups and downs (More ups of course). It feels like just yesterday I was scared and nervous to join Neev, time definitely flew. Thank you and goodbye to everyone, I hope we meet again! I believe my journey in life has now just begun.

It is a remarkable thing that Neev has managed to retain a group of wonderful teachers and students.
I still remember walking into a Neev classroom for the first time in Grade five. Pratyush was wearing a green collared shirt, although I didn’t know his name back then. Sunav was still chubby. He only became my friend as a challenge from our class teacher at the time - a bid to impress her no doubt. I suppose sometimes intention doesn’t matter. I am proud to still call him a friend today.
forged memories and bonds that I will adore for many years to come.
I cannot, of course, forget the teachers. David sir, thank you for being so much more than an MUN coordinator. For our conversations. Ms Ainee, thank you for being the most fun math teacher I ever had. Ms Bishnupriya, for always being welcoming and open. Arka sir, for always making me smile. Ms Amita, for our laughter. Ms Neelam, for kindling my love for economics and Sunit sir for sustaining it. And Colin sir, for the way of thinking that you taught me.
I will not soon forget walking down Neev’s halls. The good, the bad and the ugly. They say time softens all memories, that nostalgia makes the past seem sweeter. But I hope, no matter how long it’s been, I remember Neev exactly as it was - a home.
To dropping out of Harvard, Rithwik.
Raghav was the first person I ever talked to in Neev. I thought we would be great friends. We weren’t. At least not for the next five years. We bonded over our academics in the tenth grade. He then promptly overtook me in DP, but I cherish his friendship and competition.
I was Vishal’s “buddy” when he joined in Grade seven. We clicked. I value him as a friend, and as someone to memorize mark schemes with. I grew close to Suhaani in Grade seven, and she remains one of the best people I have met. Through her, I also came to be friends with Amulya and Ananyafriends I know I won’t forget.
On the note of not forgetting, I definitely won’t forget the school trips - the “learning” journeys. Delhi was, I think, the most hectic trip I’ve ever been on. Aurangabad was beautiful. Rajastahn was rife with gossip. Ladakh was breathtaking (running up stairs tends to do that to you). Northeast

‘Take a deep breath and start again,’ said Vineet sir as my stunned 7th grade self completely forgot the introduction to our skit. Relief settled in and I regained my confidence.
Another chance!
I carried those words with me till date, since it was the moment I realised that it is okay to make mistakes and grow among my peers and teachers in Neev. The past 6 years in this school have proven just this and I hold so much gratitude for the people who made it worthwhile.
I’ll start by thanking my teachers, some of the most important people during my time in school. Thank you to my science and maths teachers: Arka sir, Ujwal sir and Ashwani sir for all your support and inspiration, especially when it felt like certain tasks were impossible. Arka sir, thank you for all the support you gave me during my extended essay, whether it was with the essay itself or helping me feel more assured with my work! Ujwal sir, thank you for helping me enjoy maths a little bit more and making the subject seem less daunting to me. Miss Rohini and Miss Namitha, thank you for being easily the coolest spanish teachers, I’ll forever miss our sessions chatting in the last ten minutes of classes after a long day. Miss Sheena, thank you for occasionally letting us get lost in class debates. Thank you so much to Miss Vaishali and David sir for helping me foster my love for english, a subject I may have never truly found without your teaching. Thank you to Colin sir for helping me see so much more in literature but also reminding us not to get lost in the tangle
of grades and colleges that high school puts us through. I’ll always be reminded of literature classes whenever I see a new bird through a window.
During my years at Neev, I also had the opportunity to form some of my most special friendships and important memories. I can scarcely imagine next year, without chaotic (but most fun) sessions in the music club. Thank you to every member who made ICL one of my favourite times of the week. Physics classes would be incomplete without some of the best classmates I could ever ask for. Sia, thanks for being my forever studybuddy, I wouldn’t have gotten through without you. Aryaman and Tejas Naik, I’ll keep the (mostly accurate) physics notes on my tablet forever. Neha, you have really cool eyes (also, thanks for being an awesome and surprisingly relatable friend). Thank you to the french ab initio kids for ‘blessing’ our spanish class with your presence at the oddest of times. Urvashi, thank you for ‘doublehandedly’ keeping me afloat during the worst of times, I can always count on you. Finally, Yashmita, I’ll really miss our strange and long rants on the bus.
I must admit, leaving school and starting anew in college is scary. That being said, I know I’ll carry with me my fondest memories and learnings from school (whether academic or not) with me for a long time. So farewell Neev, only physically but never in spirit.
Sleep well and dream big, Samitha
As I prepare myself for university; Neev has literally been my second home. It’s been 15 years in this school and I have grown with this school. From shifting campuses to making new friends, Neev has always created a safe space for me. As my Neev journey comes to an end; stepping out of this safe space, there is always a sense of nervousness within. There have been times when the journey was a bit difficult, but as I look back there have been amazing moments to cherish and keep.
In these 15 years, I am forever grateful to my teachers who have helped me rediscover myself and have pushed me to step outside my comfort zone. I would like to thank Olwin sir, for always helping me with organizing and encouraging me to do better over the years. Thank you Miss Chaitra for tolerating and accepting my talkative nature. Miss Amita, your classes have always been cheerful and fun; making Spanish easier for me. Thank you Hareram sir for helping me find a liking towards math over the years, and Miss Vaishali your passion and zeal towards teaching never fails to motivate me. Thank you Sunit sir and Miss Neelam for your assistance throughout my economics journey. Lastly, I would also like to thank Miss Bishnupriya and Miss Parull for their time and effort; guiding me through my entire college application process and motivating me to improve in every field of life.
Finally, I would like to appreciate and thank my classmates who have been with me throughout my time at Neev. My memorise of Nagaland would be incomplete without thanking Aryaman
and Tejas Naik for the best times we have had. Arjun and Aryan shah, you have been literal brothers. I have known you for 14 years, and it’s very rare to find such a bond. Online classes and basketball games would have not been the same without Vishal’s humorous jokes and our lunchtime football games wouldn’t be complete without our shared laughter and camaraderie. It always amazes me to see how my friendship with Rishik has grown. From being strangers in 11th grade to now being such good friends I’m confident this is one such bond which would last for a long time.
I would like to end by saying thank you to each and everyone who have been with me throughout my Neev journey.
Cheers,
Shaaunak Bajaj

“What are your plans for the summer?”
I have been asked this a dozen times now yet I don’t know the answer. Or rather I don’t want to know the answer because having an answer makes this end of this chapter even more real.
Everytime I begin to think, I feel whirlwinds punching my breath away. These thoughts of the future are like a carbonated drink upsetting the insides of my stomach, while promptly making me feel warm after. Is that excitement? Fear? Or perhaps it’s a mixture of both. I’m jumping into the next chapter much like that emoji which has its eyes closed and a broad smile conquering its face. I have no clue about what’s to hit me but I’m reassured that my teachers and friends have my back.
Particularly, I have to remember our therapy sessions with Miss Vaishali back in grade 10. I can’t deny, it was a stressful time. I’m sure it was stressful for Miss as well. But those short (and most times, extremely long) chats were one of the main things I looked forward to. I’m sure Miss is relieved that I’m going to be out of her class as I used to submit 800 practice essays to her per week, but she never failed to correct them even at her busiest. Thank you so much for inculcating an enjoyment (love is too much) for L&L.
From 10th grade itself, I also have to thank Miss Ainee for being such a proactive and caring Math teacher. Likewise, Prasad sir from 11th made math fun (shocking, I know). His demeanor was such that whenever he told us he was disappointed in our performance, instead of feeling
disheartened, I felt even more motivated to improve.
Coming to Arka sir, I remember my first impression of him was an incredibly smart and passionate scientist like Doc Brown from Back to the Future. Well, all of that is true but over time, I’ve also come to appreciate how understanding and patient he is. From his astrophysics metaphors which permeate all conversations of the galaxy like dark energy to his simply “chill” persona I can’t imagine doing Physics or the Breakthrough Challenge with any other teacher.
Of course, Miss Amita, I’ve never liked a 3rd language until Spanish so thank you so much for putting up with our class even after we stink up the room after lunch.
Miss Sheena, I want to speak about you outside of Psych class. Thank you for helping me, standing up for me, always reaching out, and truly taking on the form tutor role.
Sunit sir, I think I’ve laughed the most in your class. Econ class, London cab kinda cars > your yellow porsches.
To all the people I’ve bonded with, people in the grade below as well, you’ve made me who I am. If I begin naming, I’ll go on forever so I’ll start with Neha. From the coconut icecream to loudspeaker to our workout routine which we failed to follow after 2 workouts, thank you for giving me some of my most cherished DP memories.
From conversations under the stars of Nagaland, to explosive banter in Rajasthan and midnight cup noodles in Aurangabad, the Neev trips have been the most memorable.
Well, all that remains is this quote - “I am trying to communicate something incommunicable, to explain something inexplicable, to tell about something I only feel in my bones and which can only be experienced in those bones.” - Franz Kafka
I walked into Neev for the first time just over 6 years ago. It was the first time I had changed schools in my life, so I remember being very nervous back then. However, I did know one person at the school. Neil and I had been friends for years at that point, and he had joined a few weeks before the winter holidays. I made most of my friends on the first day through him. I remember still standing up before answering teachers, and instinctively calling them “Ma’am” instead of Miss. The awkwardness from those moments remains to this day.
What helped me integrate quickly into Neev was the first learning journey. I had only been in school about 2 weeks before we left for Gujarat, and I still have fond memories of the trip. One of the things I remember is becoming the unofficial dosa eating champion of the grade towards the end of the trip. I later went on to defend my title in Bandipur five years later, beating formidable competition in the process.
While I made friends with a lot of people in Neev over the years, there were some friendships that have endured. Neil, who i’ve known for 10-odd years, Ishaan, who i’ve known since birth, Tejas, who might be the single worst chess player imaginable, and Arav who made friends with me after seeing me looking at obamos memes. To this very day, he possesses the single worst physics score I have ever seen, a record I’m sure he is proud of. I would like to thank Ishaan, Tejas and Arav again, you lads have made my life special. You guys are some of the kindest and friendliest people I have ever known. Having friends like you
is something I will be eternally thankful for, and I hope we can remain close for many years to come.
A massive part of why I was able to thrive at Neev was the teachers. I would like thank Miss Soumya for helping me when I joined, Miss Ainee for helping me do well in MYP Math(I didn’t know what (a+b)2 was 2 months before the exam), Miss Nisha for persevering with me when I clearly had no musical talent, and negligible interest in the subject, Miss Bishnupriya for guiding me through college applications, and for always remaining optimistic about my college prospects even when I could not see the bright side, Miss Neelam for making me interested in economics, and Arka sir for helping me survive physics. I am sure there are other teachers I forgot to mention, but I hope every teacher I have had knows that they have shaped who I am today, and are the reason I am where I am in life.
Neev is a place I won’t forget. However, it isn’t just a place. It is a vault of memories and relationships forged over those six years. While I have had my fair share of bad memories during my time here, looking back those are almost entirely forgotten, or seem almost childish now. Looking back, it is all the good memories that remain, from the field trips, or from random moments that stand out. I’m sure I will make more friends and have more experiences down the line, but I hope that I don’t forget my time at Neev. It has unchangeably forged the person I am today, and its effect on my life will forever remain.
Be seeing you, Soham.
Tejas Ramineni G 12B
It’s truly remarkable how Neev has been a constant presence in my life since 2009, shaping not just my academic journey, but also fostering lifelong friendships and unforgettable experiences. Stepping into a Neev classroom for the first time felt like stepping into a second home, where teachers were mentors and classmates were family.
I vividly recall the early days, struggling through classes with Soham and Ishaan, navigating the challenges together and celebrating small victories. Despite failing classes and setbacks, our bond grew stronger, and we learned the true meaning of perseverance and support.
One of the fondest memories I hold dear is being part of the cartooning group Toon-x, alongside Tejas Reddy, Arjun Varma, and Dhruv Gupta. Our creative sessions were filled with laughter and imagination, and the friendships forged there are ones I cherish dearly.
Reflecting back, I can’t help but think of Miss Divya in 4th grade, whose passion for art ignited a spark within us all. She taught us the importance of nurturing creativity and staying connected to our artistic side, lessons that have stayed with me through the years.
And then there’s Miss Dorothy, whose unwavering support in math learning left a lasting impact on me. Her patience and dedication helped me overcome obstacles and instilled in me a newfound confidence in my abilities.
As I stand on the brink of a new chapter, I am filled with gratitude for the wonderful
teachers and classmates who have shaped my journey at Neev. From the bustling school trips to the quiet moments in the classroom, each memory holds a special place in my heart.
So here’s to Neev - a place that will

I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to interact with and learn from so many supportive and inspiring people in my 5 years at Neev. From being the quiet, new kid in 8th grade, to the annoying, funny (I’m funny) one in 12th, I am grateful to Neev for helping me grow, thrive and come into my own.
I thank Arka sir for nurturing my love for Physics and for tolerating my overconfidence. I promise that it’s for comedic effect only sir. Also, my EE definitely deserved an A.
I thank Ms Vaishali for calling out my “well articulated BS” both academically and otherwise (I don’t think I’ve learnt very well though).
I thank Sunit sir for his word wizardry and his entertaining idiosyncrasies. I find your care-free, but committed attitude, and your reels very inspiring sir. I thank Ms Amita for exalting my already elevated self-confidence in the PTMs and for helping me appreciate the elegance of how the Spanish swear. I thank Ashwani sir for somehow making Chemistry fun, and Ujwal sir for challenging us in Math class.
I’ll remember my morning cricket discussions with Colin sir, and the trash-talk with Anand sir during basketball. Above all, I’ll remember Ms Bishnupriya and Ms Parull for always being welcoming and open, and accommodating my random visits to the SAC.
Lastly, I thank Rithwik, Sunav, Raghav
and all my other peers for allowing me to be myself.

Parents and our budding tennis stars participated in a thrilling parent-child tennis tournament. They signed up according to their skill level - a beginner, intermediate, or advanced player, there was a place for all on the court. Matches were organized between players of these categories, ensuring that everyone has a chance to shine. But there was an extra twist! All matches were doubles, and our talented students, matched by skill level, served as parents’ doubles partners!
The theory of knowledge exhibition is an important milestone in the DP calendar, as it marks a stage where students display their metacognitive skills by engaging with knowledge questions, such as ‘What is the relationship between personal experience and knowledge?’, or ‘What role does imagination play in producing knowledge of the world?’ Students address a selected prompt via three objects. This year there were a variety of objects including several holy books, gauges and instruments, shells, original songs and paintings. The ToK exhibition is a community event, which includes parents, grandparents, teachers, friends and peers. Students engaged with their audience, showing them how the objects they have selected help illuminate the prompt. The ultimate aim of the exhibition was visible: to show how this subject, theory of knowledge, manifests in the world around us.
