The National Junior Honor Society is one of the first stepping stones to becoming a remarkable leader and citizen in my community. I have had many opportunities throughout my life to participate in my community, be it through my church, swim team , or other groups. But I truly believe that I am not a perfect citizen. I have many lengths to strive for to become the person I would like to be. NJHS will help me on my path to becoming a leader by giving me opportunities to work with people who see the world the way I do. Who see the world as full of opportunity, most of it untapped. Full of people that struggle for food, or are being crushed with work. I would like to change this , and NJHS will help me achieve my vision. Luckily, the NJHS is full of hard working and smart people that I feel like being around would help me improve myself, but more importantly, to improve others. NJHS will give more opportunities to help serve my...show more content...
All this and more will help me reach my goal of one day being able to relate to a wide variety people, being able to work with and guide anyone, and everyone, through relationships developed between a leader and his followers. I wish to be that leader that makes a change in the world to help relieve the pressure that people around the world feel every day, the pressure to work with people that they hate, that they despise, by eliminating that distaste. Unfortunately, certain people will always dislike others, but people can change. I will be the one to help make that change in people. This journey will all start with NJHS. by first working to bring together this small group of people, to work to improve the community with them and to lead them. Not many other programs can say that they can really achieve this. But NJHS can. We, as people working united to better our community, and ourselves, can achieve this. I simply ask, that you give me the

Dear National Junior Honor Society Faculty Council, First and foremost, I would like to thank the Faculty Council for the opportunity to be a delegate of the NJHS faculty council. For sure, I understand that to get into this council will not only take astounding grades, but also take great leadership and courage. If I become a member of the National Honor Society, I shall effectively utilize the chance given to challenge my limits of courage, leadership, and determination. I will endeavor to do my best in any occasions when the faculty council gives me the chance to prove this.

Once, my friends and I encountered a problem where the soccer ball that we were playing with got stuck up on one of the stands next to the soccer field. All the security guards were too far away to ask for help; the ball was stuck at the highest point of the stand so it was almost impossible for one of us to reach the ball. Then, I came up with a clever plan, which was to shake the stand until the ball dropped. Although this method would be time–consuming, this did not risk anyone's life to reach the ball. Under the command of me, the others shook the stand with all their might until their faces all reddened; eventually, we managed to accomplish our "mission." I, as well currently represent the "Service" trait of NJHS by helping those who are in need. When I first saw the new students this year, I decided to help them by becoming a friend and maintain that relationship. I still interact with them often, enjoy playing with them when they seem lonely, and start conversations with them when they seem left out. Lastly, I currently represent the "Citizenship" trait of National Honor Junior Society by participating a tennis club in my community. This club allows me to enhance my ability in tennis by examining the other club members and to interact with older students that will enable me to gain more knowledge about high
