The Company

NEDON Real Estate and Development has been operating in the last 16 years, focusing on property development and construction of top quality holiday villas and complexes. It has been developing projects in Northern Greece, in areas with easy access from the countries of the Balkan arrow. Superior aesthetics and high construction quality characterize all of the works of the company. The distinctive architectural design, the natural beauty of the land plots that are being chosen for the developments, the endurance of works, the proximity to infrastructures constitute some of the basic characteristics of the company’s developments. Flexibility is one of the main characteristics of the company, as constructions can adapt to the personal demands of every individual customer. The residences are being built from scratch, in accordance with the customers’ desires. “Elaiones” – Seaside complex in Rachoni village, Thassos

The “Elaiones” complex has been developed on a seaside land plot and consists of 23 residences of 110sqm each. The complex is located at the edge of a coastal village, named Skala Rachoni - between Limenas, the capital of Thassos island and Skala Prinos village. Limenas and Skala Prinos is where the two ports that connect the island with the city of Kavala and the port of Keramoti are located. The architectural design of the complex is modern with elements which refer to the traditional style of the island. The quality construction materials, the meticulous work, the thermoacoustic insulation and the sound equipment render the residences appropriate for a year round stay. Many of the buyers - both Greeks and foreigners of various nationalities – use them either permanently or five to six months per year. The construction of the complex began in 2001 and was completed in 2006.

The architectural design of the residences reflects the style of the famous Greek architect Aris Konstantinides. “Alpha Villas” – residential complex in Limenaria, Thassos

This complex consists of 4 villas, located at the edge of the village “Limenaria”, on a gentle slope, which grants panoramic view to the surrounding area and the sea. Each villa was built on a 2.000 sqm land plot with olive trees. Every villa covers an area of 160 sqm and is laid out in 2 floors. Every villa features a private swimming pool of 50sqm overlooking the sea, two large verandas and a private road, which leads to a private sheltered garage. The residences are standard equipped with a fireplace, a warehouse, closets and air-conditioning units. The plastic windows and doors, along with the double glazing reinforce the thermoacoustic insulation of each residence. The autonomous heating allows all year round stay. The construction of the complex was completed in 2014.

“Meliades” – Seaside settlement in Rachoni village, Thassos

The settlement “Meliades” consists of 6 autonomous seaside residences. Each residence covers an area of 120 sqm, laid out in 2 levels. The complex is located in “Limanakia” (Little Ports), an area between the ports in Skala Prinos and Limenas (the capital of Thassos). These ferry-boat ports connect the island with the city of Kavala and Keramoti. The complex adjoins the sea and is surrounded by pine and olive trees. The modern architecture, the splendid location, the tranquility and privacy of the area create a combination that provides the property the requirements to maintain a timeless value. The construction of the complex started in March 2007 and was completed in the summer of 2008. By that time, all residences were sold, mainly to Russian customers.

“Oikies” – residential complex in Prinos village Thassos

The “Oikies” complex aims to fulfill the need of inhabitants, both Greeks and foreigners, who live permanently on the island, for newly constructed residences. The complex consists of 23 buildings (2level houses and apartments) developed on a 4.500sqm land plot at the boundaries of Prinos, a village inhabited all year round. The 2 storey residences cover an area of 110 sqm each and the area of the apartments ranges between 50 sqm and 70 sqm.

The architecture applied to the buildings is simple with clear cuts and enriched with pergolas, balconies and roof tiles. In respect to the protection of the environment, the residences are being constructed according to the principles of Green Building.

3 two-storey buildings have been designed to host 2 apartments each – a 70sqm apartment on the ground floor and a 51sqm apartment on the upper floor. The apartments on the upper floor feature a veranda shaded by a wooden pergola. The increased demand for small residences led to the construction of 24 additional apartments, of 55 sqm each. The new apartments are located on the ground and first floor of 2 level buildings and they feature an open plan living room with kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Every apartment is equipped with two double acting air-conditioning, for heat in the winter and coolness in the summer, solar water heater, a warehouse and closets in the bedrooms. The particularly elegant buildings, that are surrounded by verdant olive groves, while having all village facilities at hand, are an ideal proposal for a budget privately owned accommodation on the island.

“Oikies” – Detached houses

2 level residences of 110,45 sqm each. The ground floor covers an area of 57 sqm featuring a living room of 33 sqm with a fireplace, a kitchen, a W.C. and a warehouse with the boiler. It also features a veranda with direct access to the 140 sqm private garden. The upper floor covers an area of approximately 60 sqm with 3 bedrooms - 2 of which feature a veranda - and a bathroom. Every residence is equipped with an open-air parking space and pre-installation for air-conditioning.

The cozy houses are ideal even for a permanent residence, throughout the whole year. A lot of locals have purchased houses in the complex, which combines modern amenities with a traditional touch in its architecture.



“Oikies” – Detached houses



“Karavos Stone Houses� – stone built complex "Karavos" complex consists of 3 stone houses. It is being developed on a sloping land that grants panoramic view to the village and the gulf of Kavala. The full use of stone ensures harmony with the surrounding landscape and the traditional character of the island. Each residence covers a net floor area of 100 sqm and features a private land of 1,400 sqm. It consists of an open space living room with kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an attic. Stone is an excellent fireproof, sound insulation and earthquake resistant element. It is also known for its thermal insulation qualities, as it keeps the building cool during summer and preserves warmth during winter months. According to the Greek legislation referring to constructions, stone masonries are excluded from the total building area, thus giving the advantage of bigger spaces.
