Access to the labour market and the development of entrepreneurial skills - Eligible refugees underwent an initial skills assessment, they received free information sessions regarding the steps required for entering the local labour market and for opening a business in Romania, CV writing services and professional development classes were provided to them, and contact with potential employers was facilitated. This programme was specifically created for Iraqi refugees who expressed their interest to relocate to Romania. The programme helps to eliminate language barriers and reduce the cultural shock associated with the relocation to a different society. It also provides refugees with ample support (medical, financial, cultural) and with a comprehensive toolbox (e.g. language classes, VET trainings, CV writing sessions, professional development plan) to facilitate their successful integration in the Romanian society.
