The computer-based interactive digital artifact that I have in mind combines two very popular forms of entertainment and technology. Nowadays 3D movies and video games are very popular as is the Xbox360 Kinect with its infrared motion sensing technology. The idea I have is pretty simple: Why not combine the two technologies and be able to interact with your computer’s operating systems in 3 dimensions. Users would simply need a pair of special 3D glasses and an infrared sensor with a camera for motion tracking. People would be able to interact with their files by simply placing their finger over them and there would be a virtual keyboard that users can interact with. Of course software would have to be developed in order for this to work.
