Lad n Lass Coffe Shop is located in Azzana Essence Villa Sanggabuana, Bogor. It’s a Renovation project and procurement of interior furniture, which has an organic theme and calm colors taken from several elements, namely flowers. Here I act as a Designer who translates the owner's deck identity into a design that can be applied in a space concept. In addition, I am also a Project Manager who controls the work so that the design and field are implemented properly from the beginning until the project is completed and handed over.
The design concept of Lad n Lass Coffee Shop uses certain characteristics, starting from the selection of various colors that symbolize Happiness, Caring, Space, Serving, Community. From this theme, colors are formed, and also shapes that symbolize each theme. Then this Coffee Shop also uses the concept of flowers that are symbolized into certain symbols such as Begonia, White Jasmine, Strawflower and others, which are transformed into simpler and non-figurative forms.

The bar table is one of the most important components in this design, because this table is the meeting point between visitors and the owner. The target is how this table becomes its own attraction, becomes the identity of the Coffee Shop and also becomes the center of the design concept. This bar table is designed to match the main theme so that the top of the table is not angular. and with a certain budget it is quite satisfying, because in the end we manually modified the wood to be curved.

The installation and shape of this bar table also adapts to the existing conditions where water and drainage have been in the corner area for a long time. With limited space, we still consider the width and arrangement of the table circulation components so that the coffee making process is not disturbed.

This coffee shop carries 2 graphic themes in its design, where the first theme is the Cheerfull theme which is symbolized as curved lines. because this theme depicts a more cheerful and calm atmosphere, we installed this line decoration in the inner area of the building. while the other theme, Flower, is more natural and cool, weinstalled it in the outer area. This separation aims to ensure that the combination of existing wall decorations is not too complicated and messy.
plate that is bent using a special machine, then reinforced with hollow iron so that there is no curvature when occupied. having a shape like the letter C makes this table able to function in a narrow room without disturbing road users, and also people sitting.

The existing room is the back lane of the hotel employees, therefore it needs to be given a partition element. The mirror as an extension of the dead space as a psychological separator, between the circulation of visitors and employees, the organic mirror shape as a similarity of the room and the unification of the theme.

The design follows the existing conditions where the ceiling is made of PVC hollow iron frame. Due to the lightweight structure, the additional ceiling must have very lightweight material, because the load cannot be supported by the new structure.
The condition of the availability of plumbing water in the existing area has also been prepared together with the establishment of the hotel, so that the circulation and placement of the bar table follows the existing conditions, so that there is no need to do more work.
In the process stage, overall the work is divided into 2 work items, namely fabrication items and procurement items. The owner has a request for the project to be completed in 4 weeks, so it is important to pay attention to time efficiency. In this first stage, the main interior work is carried out which takes the longest time for fabrication. the work is carried out outside the hotel area, so as not to interfere with hotel activities.
In addition, the most important thing in this work is the cost of the work, where in the process the owner has a budget limit that is submitted. So I and the team decided to propose several alternative uses of materials. Where the initial one was a solid surface custom, with the alternative use of duco paint and stainless top table.

Stainless Steel
The process of combining stainless steel with the table structure requires careful measurement and division, where the topble must be equal to the outside of the table. Therefore, the table is given a space that matches the thickness of the stainless steel. In addition, field control of the installation of ice bins and chillers must also be considered, where each is carried out in a different place, so coordination and several adjustments are needed during installation.
In the procurement of goods including visitor tables, there is an additional process, namely adjusting the color to the cafe's brand. Because the brand color is not standard, many jobs are done custom or re-finishing. Some materials made of wood will be repainted using a spray technique, while iron is painted using a powder coating.

ALA House

This house design carries a Mediterranean theme, where the client is someone who works abroad and likes a simple style, cream and dominated by rocks. In its design, this house uses a combination of white stone and alternative wood with soft colors. Then presented accents such as rattan weaving, curved wall accents, and curved interior furniture
ALA House is a residential design project that is planned to have several stages in its construction. The first stage of construction as a private residence, then the second stage becomes a residence equipped with a 2 level boarding house
One of the most prominent factors of the Mediterranean concept in this building is the unevenness of the roof. The Mediterranean concept will generally be formed through the formation of spaces that have differences in size between one building and another.
Second phase building
Construction Phase 2
The second construction phase was continued for the addition as a boarding house. Then changing the facade of the stair area into an indoor area.
Construction Phase 1
The first construction is the private house residence which is comnplemented with preparations for the construction of a 2nd floor in the form of a rooftop.
The condition of the northern or right side of the building is a house building which is 1 yard from the condition of this site. In addition, it has a distance in the form of a footpath, so we use it as the back path of this house. However, on the other hand, because it is a circulation path, we separate it using 2 partitions through a mini garden, so that the living room of this house is still in a comfortable condition
The south and east or left and rear sides of the building are existing walls that are already standing solidly and bordering a narrow alley. Therefore, we try to continue to utilize this existing condition because in terms of condition, this wall is already solid and suitable to be maintained.

The rear rooftop of this building is used as a communal space or terrace specifically for the residents of the upper area of the house, where the upper room does not have an outdoor area.
Each room on the 2nd floor has its own drain shaft and is a continuation of the shaft up to the 1st floor. This is what we must and have prepared in its construction and each room on the 1st floor has the same distance between columns as those on the 2nd floor.

The owner requested to be given an outdoor area in the back, because they have a pet dog. So the design of this house is intended to have a small garden for the dog to play in.
The structure of this house is designed by considering that in the future it will be built and designed for the provision of boarding houses. So that the columns are arranged so that they can become rooms, including the 1st floor which is a residence that can also be filled as a boarding house in the 3rd stage.

F+A House is a house renovation project and made into a 1 floor house + mezzanine. The design of this house uses a tropical concept, by maximizing ventilation, lighting, and green areas. The room design is also a combination of the existing old house structure design, the old building structure is maintained, and some walls are also maintained.
In this project I acted as a designer who translated the client's wishes into architectural ideas. Planning the selection of materials along with the technical details of its manufacture. In addition, in this project I was also entrusted to discuss directly with the owner,
Process Design
Some structures were dismantled due to the condition of the house structure being too winding. While on the other hand, adjustments were made in the form of dismantling walls.
The theme of this building uses one of the main side gardens as the focus of the building, where all the main spaces can access this area as much as possible.
The side garden is the most important transition area in the passive design of this building where this area is on the east side of the building so that it receives a lot of light and heat during the day. so we design it in such a way that light enters all rooms including the bedrooms. However, we reduce the heat of the sun with several trees and also openings such as rosters on the 2nd floor
One side of this building is also a garden area that is the main view from the kitchen and dining room, and bedroom. Because this room is on the west side of the building, the temperature conditions of this garden will be the opposite of the conditions of the side garden, so that it can be a path for air exchange with each other.

This house design uses a mezzanine floor, where the client wants 1 special room to work on a computer, and has a relaxing place as a place to rest. With a suitable concept using a high ceiling to support the tropical concept in this house.
All room conditions have openings and access to the garden, both the side garden and the back garden area. so the passive design in this building is also applied throughout the rooms that also need natural air and light.
In the construction process, I also work as a site manager who manages the time and flow of materials, workers, to the existing design plan. Changes in the field are also things that need to be closely monitored, which is what I got in this project.

The construction process is still ongoing, where there are many obstacles experienced in the process, where the timeline is not in accordance with the estimate. Here, what I can learn about the construction process from the beginning and the renovation process are 2 very different things, both in terms of time and cost. As the process progresses, the owner also asks for some adjustments to the design, which makes the design quite different from the one built

This project also combines 2 functions into 1 building, namely a private residence and also a boarding house for girls. This has an impact on the dimensions of the structure used and also the efficiency of the space to be built. The owner wants some of the functions of the 2nd floor of the house to be maximized as a boarding room, so that the division of space between the residence and the boarding house is in accordance with the client's needs.
This house design uses the Industrial Modern concept. The Industrial concept is one of the architectural design concepts that is popular with young people today where many raw materials are used.
Design Transformation
The condition of the L-shaped site, which is close to the owner's family home, so we placed the house nearby. The owner requested that this house be built into 2 floors with the space requirements of 1 family. Because the site is wider with the owner's space requirements, we decided to increase the boarding room area. with that area is enough to make a family room, garden, and rooftop for those close to the owner's work area.
Concept Design
Private houses and boarding houses that use the Industrial concept, modern with a tropical building context are a combination of owner requests and the owner's extended family. Where we combine contemporary industrial designs with materials such as perforated metal, cement finish, roster, but wrap it in a more modern and clean way. In addition, we also consider the tropical context by providing many openings and some natural light in some potentially dark corners.
The family room is the main room, a gathering place for the owner's extended family, combining an indoor atmosphere for adult activities, with a spacious outdoor area as a place for small children to play without separating the view from each other. All rooms have access to the central room

This spatial planning concept focuses on the central space and the back garden area, making it the core of all rooms where as much as possible all rooms have close access to this room. so that unity and security in the room can be maintained.
In this design we propose one of the bathroom layout concepts, namely a shared bathroom. where this concept can save more space and facilitate circulation and room layout,

The design of this boarding room is made as simple and efficient as possible, starting from the circulation of dirty rooms, then the circulation of clean rooms, to the provision of furniture.
The circulation concept in the design of this boarding house is focused on where there are shared spaces, such as communal spaces, kitchens, and laundry rooms. This room must be accessible at the closest distance among all the rooms, so it is placed in front of the stairs area.

Meta House is a 2 floor house renovation project with a mezzannine floor which is a private residential expansion project. This project transforms a storage warehouse into a new residence inside the owner's main residence.

In this Meta House Project I work as a Design Manager, where I plan the timeline, and ensure the design process runs smoothly, starting from controlling meetings with clients, site surveys, translating design ideas from clients, to controlling data related to the RAB and also the planning work drawings. This project has several challenges, such as adjusting existing, adjusting the condition of existing structures, and the renovation work itself.
Konsep Design
The existing condition of the house has a maximum height of 3 floors. Therefore, to strengthen the rhythm of unity in the building, this height is the reference limit for designing
Tampak Depan
Living Room
With the need for a lot of space but the existing condition is quite small, we use the split level concept so that the room is horizontally and vertically sufficient but does not feel cramped. This option is also used to minimize changes to the existing structure on the lower floor.

The access stairs to the rooftop area are in the back area with a height of 5 meters. This is not a standard distance, but in terms of circulation it is more profitable. We use this option so that the bedroom remains a private space.

Privat Space
The stairs to the bedroom floor are only sufficient for 1 circulation path. In addition, to maximize the space, the stairs are also designed using an iron structure and multifunctional as a cabinet.

This house has 2 split level bathrooms which are then given a void so that light can enter from the roof of the 2nd floor to the lowest bathroom. Because the room is quite narrow, the void design is made as minimal as possible by using light-reflecting materials, and clear elements such as tempered glass.

Equipped with a Rooftop area, this place is intended to follow the habits of families who like to gather, enjoy the atmosphere and take care of plants.
However, due to the narrow land, access to the rooftop uses a spiral staircase made of iron which is accessed through the 2nd floor or the back area of the kitchen.
Some furniture is designed to be folded in the most minimalist form, such as the work desk in the living room can be folded as a regular table. Likewise with the availability of a makeshift place of worship, a makeshift storage place combined with stairs, and also a bedroom bed
