Students are required to be in NDP polos, plain white polos, or a NDP t-shirt with uniform bottoms.

Summer School Attendance Policy: Due to the abbreviated nature of the summer school session, it is essential that students are in their classes each day to earn credit for their courses. For all families, new and returning, please note the following attendance policy. Arizona State Law [ARS 15-803(B)] and the NDP Student/Parent Handbook requires that students are present for 90% of the course to receive credit. For year-long courses, students may miss no more than two class days (or a total of 11 hours) to earn credit. For semester-long courses, students may miss no more than one class day (or a total of 5.5 hours) to earn credit. Due to the short and intensive nature of the summer term, class attendance is absolutely critical, so please schedule doctor's appointments/family gatherings/vacations outside of the summer school session. All pre-arranged absences must be approved.

TECHNOLOGY BYOD PROGRAM (Bring Your Own Device) INTRODUCTION As the world of technology evolves, so does Notre Dame Preparatory. We have spent countless hours over the last few years updating our technology across campus. NDP also provides, free of charge, the Microsoft Suite of products, an email account and access to all of the student software required for classes. Notre Dame does not supply laptops for students. Families must provide a laptop that matches or exceeds the requirements outlined below. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT STUDENTS HAVE A WINDOWS LAPTOP. As of the 2021-2022 school year, all teachers will have Windows laptops, and this means that they will be able to provide the first level of support. MINIMUM LAPTOP REQUIREMENTS Laptops for incoming students must be no more than 2 years old. It is highly recommended that you purchase a support contract that will cover the 4-year period that students are in high school. NDP does not provide loaners for computers that must be sent out for repair, but students may use an older laptop or an iPad if the need arises. Operating System PC: Windows 10 MAC: Must be updated to the latest version of macOS Processor PC: Intel Core i3 MAC: Any RAM 8GB of RAM Storage 250 GB hard drive TECHNOLOGY PREP FOR STUDENTS In June and July, there will be technology prep events for incoming students to come in and get their computer prepared for the school year, access their email and be introduced to some basic requirements for the first day of school. Information will be sent out as soon as the dates for these events are selected. If you have any questions about your laptop, or for the IT department in general, this time is a great opportunity to have those questions answered. To contact NDP’s IT department, email them at helpdesk@ndpsaints.org.

TEXTBOOKS The faculty at otre Dame Prep are currently working hard to gather new and updated learning resources for our students. nce that list is complete, we will send out further communication on how to obtain those texts and learning resources.

At otre Dame Prep, we seek to educate the whole student in bo y and sou . The ouse System allows students to be recognized for more than PA or athletic achie ement. ithin their ouse, students talents are explored and nurtured by a built-in support system. The ouses compete for ouse points through academics, Christian ser ice and school spirit, while showing e eren e es e t and es onsibi ity toward each other. The Class of 0 4 will learn which ouse will be their family for the next four years at freshman orientation in August. Your ouse is so excited to meet you

Corporate Tax Credit through Catholic education arizona

$500,000

in unmet financial need What is The Corporate Tax Credit (CTC)?

The Corporate Tax Credit allows C-corporations, S-corporations and insurance companies to redirect their tax liability to Scholarship Tuition Organizations (STO). Companies are allowed a tax credit up to 100% of their corporate tax liability - or in the case of insurance companies, 100% of their insurance premium sales tax.

A Catholic Education Should be Affordable for Every Child

In 1998, the State of Arizona instituted the Private School Tax Credit for individuals. The Private School Tax Credit was expanded to include businesses - C-corporations, insurance companies, and S-corporations. This permits certain businesses to redirect a portion of their state income tax liability to a private school of their choice. Whether individual or corporate, these dollar-for-dollar tax credits significantly reduce tuition for Catholic school families.

Help Make a Notre Dame Prep Education Affordable to All Students

At NDP, the unmet financial need for tuition assistance for qualifying families is $500,000 (2018-19 school year). Corporate tax credits contributed to CEA help make a Notre Dame Prep education affordable.

5 Easy Steps CHECK if your company qualifies for Private School Tax Credit. Go to Arizona Department of Revenue website at www.asdor.gov/taxcredits or contact Lyric Naquin in the NDP Advancement Office. IDENTIFY your corporate income tax liability of insurance premium tax to the State of Arizona. COMPLETE the corporate tax credit commitment form provided by NDP by May 1; submission to the Arizona Department of Revenue will be made on July 1 by Catholic Education Arizona.
