PGA HOPE - HEALING AND BUILDING COMMUNITY SUPPORT

Will Stockholm, US Marines Corps Gunnery, Giving Back as PGA HOPE Ambassador recognizing the positive impact the game of golf has on Veterans looking to assimilate back into society. Since his first session, Will has become one of the most active supporters of PGA HOPE, and is a well-respected mentor to fellow Veterans.

WILL STOCKHOLM

Following the completion of a specialized training program during the inaugural PGA HOPE National Golf & Wellness Week at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland, Will Stockholm (United States Marine Corps) was named PGA HOPE Ambassador for Northern California. After completing the four-day program, which included advanced golf instruction and wellness training, Stockholm received a specially designed golf and wellness tool kit that included golf training tips, exercises and other recommendations for healthy living. Introduced to PGA HOPE in the fall of 2018, Stockholm immediately embraced the program,

During his service, Will received the following honors and awards: Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with 3-Stars, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with 2-Stars, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
