

As part of their ongoing activities, the NCD Policy Lab and the Geneva Digial Health Hub (gdhub) as part of the University of Geneva (hereafter referred to as the "co-organizers") are hosting the Hackccess Hackathon (hereafter referred to as the "Hackathon") for their respective community.
To ensure a smooth and engaging experience, please find the event’s operational rules outlined below.
The Hackathon Day
During the Hackathon Day (24hours from 20th to 21st June), teams will work intensively on their challenge, developing a solution that they will present at the end of the allocated time to both a jury and the audience.
Participation in the Hackathon is free of charge and includes meals and refreshments throughout the event. The Hackathon follows a collaborative approach, with an iterative, hands-on, innovative, responsible, and ethical mindset Every participant plays an active role in ensuring the overall success of the event.
Communication
During the Hackathon, photos and videos will be taken Participants are made aware of this and consent to the use of these images and videos for internal or external communication purposes. If any participant does not wish to be photographed, they should inform the co-organizers, who will provide a visible marker to be worn during the event
Teams agree that the co-organizers may share communications about the event journey and respective solutions results
Participation criteria and registration
Anyone aged 18 or older is eligible to apply for participation in the event. All profiles are welcome, but priority will be given to those who meet the criteria outlined in the description of each respective challenge provided by the partner institutions. Candidates must apply individually. There is no need of previous experience in hackathon or similar events
To register, candidates are invited to complete a registration form available through the co-organizers’ respective websites and the dedicated event platform Candidate selection is carried out by the coorganizers in consultation with the partner institutions and challenge owners.
Each candidate will receive a response regarding their application. If selected, a confirmation email will be sent along with all necessary event details
A registration deadline will be set by the co-organizers, and this deadline may be subject to change without prior notice
