OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE STEAM IN ACTION

We anticipate thousands of youth and their families will attend the weeklong highly-engaging event. There will be a major focus on attracting youth and their families from traditionally underrepresented communities.

CLEAR PATHWAY FROM K-12 TO HIGHER ED TO SKILLED TECHNICAL WORKFORCE This week-long experience seeks to 'meet people where they are at' in both the physical and academic sense by engaging youth and inspiring them to consider pursuing post-secondary education and eventually a career in the STEAM field. A primary goal of this event is to demonstrate and facilitate clear pathways to STEAM careers. We anticipate numerous Minnesota State Colleges and Universities will be present, along with leading regional employers.

Showcasing your organization will inspire youth to discover a pathway toward their future.

Educational opportunities will progress from broad engagement and education, to highly specialized technical certifications. Each level of experience will include specific steps to furthering an attendee's development, and challenge perception of two-year institutions and careers they foster. The Experience is centered on making meaningful connection and providing valuable context to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in high-demand advanced technology technician fields.
