Global Business and Leadership is an accelerated 10-course, 12-month, fulltime cohort program focusing on global leadership that emphasizes emotional intelligence, organizational transformations and agility, and global connectedness. The program is an alternative to traditional MBA programs that emphasize traditional management theories and performance matrix.

Human Resource Leadership, M.S.
Human Resource Leadership is a set of 10 courses arranged into three advanced graduate certificates in people leadership that you may take individually, or take in sequence, plus a capstone course to earn the Master of Science in Human Resource Leadership. Nazareth's diverse health and human services academic programs and patient clinics in the York Wellness and Rehabilitation Institute provide the best learning environment and clinic spaces among northeast colleges of similar size. Our institute's design fits our focus on learning and working interprofessionally with students and faculty in nursing, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, art and music therapy, and social work.

Creative Arts Therapy—Art Therapy, M.S.
Approved by the American Art Therapy Association (AATA) Program is ideal for:
• People who have an undergraduate degree in art or psychology and wish to use art therapeutically to serve others. Prerequisite coursework in studio art and psychology is required.
Creative Arts Therapy—Music Therapy, M.S.
Approved by the American Music Therapy Association and accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music Program is ideal for:
• Musicians and music educators who want to use music therapeutically with clients
• Students who already hold a bachelor’s degree in music therapy or its equivalent and seek a master’s degree (advanced standing)
Physical Therapy, DPT
Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
Program is ideal for:
• Academically strong students driven to succeed who have a bachelor’s degree and have completed these prerequisites with a grade of B or better by the start of classes (summer): 8 credits of anatomy and physiology, 8 credits of chemistry, 8 credits of physics (all sciences include labs), 3 credits of statistics (psychology-based preferred), 6 credits of psychology (one course in developmental psychology preferred)
Public Health, MPH
• Course schedule works for working professionals
• Opportunities for international or global internships

Speech-Language Pathology (Speech Therapy), M.S.
Accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Program is ideal for:
• People who want to become a licensed speechlanguage pathologist and/or a certified New York State teacher of students with speech and language disabilities (TSSLD)

If you thrive in a college environment and want to guide college students to success: A master’s in Higher Education Student Affairs Administration enables you to develop the skills to begin or advance a professional career in higher education.
If you are fascinated by American culture — including how people in other countries see it — and want to advance your knowledge for work in the federal government, museums, diplomacy, or teaching, then a master’s in American studies will prepare you.
Graduate Humanities and Social Sciences Programs
American Studies, M.A.
• Outstanding professors in American history, literature, sociology, and philosophy guide you to deepen your understanding of American culture. Gain an interdisciplinary perspective on the literature, music, history, politics, and culture of the United States.
• Learn first-hand how outsiders view this nation by studying abroad (optional) for one semester at the Institute for English and American Studies at the University of Pannonia in Veszprém, Hungary. All courses are taught in English and the tuition is half of Nazareth's price.
• Intern at a museum, school, or international organization, in the U.S. or in Hungary.
Higher Education Student Affairs Administration, M.S.
• Learn how college students develop as individuals and within a socio-cultural context, including the context of higher education.
• Develop professional skills through practice via two 200-hour supervised internship and an optional 200-hour elective internship.
• Learn about issues, trends, and challenges in higher education as well as how to implement and assess effective programs.

Unique in the United States, the 60-credit art therapy degree program provides interdisciplinary training and clinical work.
Collaborate interprofessionally at the on-site art therapy clinic gaining hands-on experience through consultation, observation, and co-treatment with future professionals in social work, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, and music therapy — all while serving the local community.

• Students with an undergraduate degree in music education who wish to earn a master's degree with a focus in music education (professional certification)
Music Performance and Pedagogy, M.M.
Nazareth University has the only master of music program in New York state with a dual focus on performance and pedagogy. This degree will prepare you well for a performance and private teaching career or for doctoral degree programs in performance and/ or pedagogy.
Performance training: Develop performance expertise in both solo and chamber music repertoire, including performing a recital in each and in other settings.

Graduate Assistantships
Graduate assistantships are part-time jobs in campus departments that provide both financial support and valuable experience to graduate students. Graduate students support faculty/staff in research, special projects, and with administrative duties, in exchange for a partial tuition waiver applicable to that semester.

Educational Partner Network
Nazareth University’s School of Education and School of Business and Leadership partner with organizations to provide their employees/members with a tuition discount (typically 20% for business programs and $15/credit for education programs) and opportunities for professional development, career advancement, network building, and acquisition of necessary, relevant skills that benefit both the employee and employer. Nazareth’s tuition discount for partner employees/members is in addition to any employer tuition benefits. Our Educational Partner Network is always growing. Scholarships and Grants
Limited scholarships for graduate students may be available for programs in speechlanguage pathology and in education. Future teachers may also be eligible for the federal TEACH Grant, awarded to those who commit to teaching a high-need subject in a school that serves students from low-income families.

Veterans’ Benefits
