TURKISH BASKETBALL FEDERATION ABDI IPEKCI SPORTS COMPLEX Professional Project: TEGET
Project Director: Mehmet Kutukcuoglu Responsibilities: Design Development-Layout plans drafting and documentatıon of elevations, plans, sections, details, schedules, specifications in Autocad. Building Permit Drawing Set on Autocad. Basketball Development Center is located at by the historical Byzanine walls of Istanbul, where former sports hall Abdi Ipekci has been located. It is a project that considers the surrounding structures such as the Istanbul Walls, Balıklı Rum hospital in terms of height and plane. Project consists of TBF Hall, Grassroots Halls, National Team Training Center, Hotel and Indoor/Outdoor Commercial Areas where events to be held on the plaza while archived and exhibited at the basketball library and museum.

Main Hall with capacity of 10.000 spectators and panaromic views of ancient citadel walls from the attic floor.
TBF hall entrance acts as a gate between interior and exterior areas.
Interior Street is the backbone of the complex connecting all the indoor and outdoor spaces.
Entrance square facilitates the social life with the surrounding cafes, restaurants, retail areas and main entry hall.
Parking garage with 600 vehicle capacity below the main square.

KEREMKÖY HOUSE Professional Project: TEGET
Project Director: Mehmet Kutukcuoglu Responsibilities: Construction Adminstration, Shop Drawings Keremköy is a village located on a hill at Ayvalik, overlooking the northern Aeagean sea. The house streches linearly on north-south direction where the main living areas face the view. The bedrooms are located at the back of the linear house, where the corridor divides lower and higher levels of living spaces. The construction is planned to be finised in September 2022.

Project Director: Dicle Demircioglu + DAAX Responsibilities: BIM Construction phase drafting and documentation, schedules, specifications and Rhino Prodium Model The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) designed by Zaha Hadid Architects is the most important economic institution in the country, has been working hard to establish its independence and to unify monetary policy across the country. The Governor of the bank has initiated a project to develop a new headquarters for the CBI to replace existing buildings, and to send a strong message of the CBI leading the re-building of the country. Scope in this project was to coordinate external UHPC cladding, glazing, skylight, 1st floor window glazing & louvers and internal wall finishes (back painted glass), GRC ceiling & panels, curved metal panels, service strip, integrated services inclusive of openable perforated brass metal skirtings.

Project Director: Eran Chen, Ryoko Okada Responsibilities: %50 and %100 Constructıon Documentatıon - Layout plans, RCP, Outlet Plans Amenities Interior Design - Interior plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules, specifıcations in Revit and Rhino Situated on the former site of Brooklyn’s Rheingold Brewery the project will generate apartment units in Bushwick, 20% affordable. The project hosts a multitude of communal spaces open to the neighborhood, a public park will bisect the development creating a green promenade. Within the courtyards, landscaped and partially covered walkways and corridors will give way to a parade of plazas, and accessible amenities designed to continue to promote a sense of community in this increasingly vibrant area. Complementing the structure and efficiency of a more typical grid, the layout encourages both leisure and discovery, the guiding principles of the design to be a veritable city within the city.

FILTERING THE PERCEPTION AN IMMERSIVE THEATER
COLUMBIA GSAPP Fall Studio 2015 Instructor: Lise Anne Couture w/ Yu Nong Khew (Asymptote) Immersive theater is a kind of act that challenges today’s performance art by erasing the “fourth wall” between the actor and the audience. The project questions how to bring this concept into built environment. The theater/ferry terminal sits on Manhattan’s Pier 53, neighboring The Whitney Museum. It acts as an extension to this cultural institutıon, framing its view with an extending roof.
The buildıng challenges to create in-between spaces that don’t belong to a certain program. The buildıng connects the public (Pier) - private (Theater), with juxtaposing the daily routine (Transport) with the unexpected (Media). This squeezed space, which is used as the waitıng area during daytime and a foyer during the performance, negotiates among the core programs and the transparent shell.

ITU Graduation Studio 2013 Instructor: Prof. Ayse Senturer, Prof. Huseyin Kahvecioglu Looking at the divided cities across the world, we can see that the borders are set as a temporary caution to a historical, social or political problem. Especially after the WWII era, the political tension creates borders for the new countries. The problems which cannot be solved makes us ask a question: What would happen if the cost of building new walls, managing and controlling them be spent for the development of a new society? Whatever the scale be, border itself initiates formation of a temporal society and defines identity of it. The identities of people blend ın wıthın thıs envıronment, creating a new universal one, leading way to change the area’s political attitude.
The unowned case of border makes the absolute into vague, the space into opportunity, where the borders become passageways, the space re-creates itself over and over again. In order to puncture the border effect, mutual zones are created. In chosen 3 critical ares, common spaces are created along the border to serve both sıdes. Agrıculture ınstıtute, Publıc Zone and Marketplace become gates to enter the Mutual Zone.

GASTRONOMETRO Professional Project: Net Architects Project Director: Olcay Tuvanc
Responsibilities: Construction phase drafting and documentation, furniture and joinery details GastronoMetro Project is built as an extension to the 1800m2 Metro Grossmarket parking lot in Gunesli, Istanbul. It is a culinary arts an education center to host events and activities. One story height steel structure holds various types of kitchens, bars and dining areas, public auditorium, terrace garden and lobby area host public events, inviting worldwide chefs. The main building is steel construction over the concrete parking area. Facade is covered with composite panels, linear wooden shades and spandrel smoke-colored glass. The structure is exposed to the interior giving an industrial kitchen look.

Professional Project: Net Architects Project Director: Olcay Tuvanc
Responsibilities: Interior Concept, 3DModeling, Presentation Turkcell Technology Center’s invitational competition entry aimed to recreate new office spaces designed inside out, reflecting the corporate identity of the telecommunication company. The facade of the former factory building is to be covered with a mesh structure that combines 3 existing buildings. Open spaces are created for the working areas where differnent types of meeting and study rooms are insterted in circulation fiels as seperators. Facilities are distributed equally through each floor. The top floor is designed as the lounge and meeting rooms for mobile employees who need private spaces.
