The diagram below shows the possible pathways and prerequisites for each subject from Year 10 to Year 11 and then Year 12.
YEAR 10
5 Days on Campus
Students wishing to explore Applied Learning & competency based courses at Year 10 must select the following combination:
VET Certificate II TAFE subject of choice offered on campus*
English – Foundation
One Mathematics Subject
Real Life Science
Community Action
One Religious Education Subject
Health or PE
Plus 2 student-choice Year 10 electives
N.B. Students may proceed to either VCE Vocational Major, or VCE in Year 11 or include a VET in their VCE
* Choice of on campus VET includes:
• Sport, Aquatics & Recreation
• Laboratory Skills (Science)
• Business
• Beauty Services
• Dance
• Music Performance
• Information Technology
• Active Volunteering
• Cookery
• Salon Assistant (Hairdressing or Barbering)
