Housing Affordability Trust Awards $4 Million to 31 Local Organiza=ons Grants will help housing-related programs amid COVID-19

Birmingham, Alabama: The Housing Affordability Trust (HAT) is pleased to announce the recipients for the 2021 round of HAT Grants. The HAT Board of Trustees was inspired by all of the submissions from organizaCons working to improve housing and quality of life in the Birmingham Metro. This year’s grants total $3.9 million.

HAT awards the grants annually. Since 2017, the board has awarded nearly $19 million to housing-related projects and programs.
