Introduction and Rationale for the Course:
For a successful Cosmetology career, students need to acquire the skills and qualifications essential to becoming a productive member of Cosmetology industry. The student will exhibit comprehension of the history of cosmetology, professional ethics, demonstrate sanitation and safety, and explain the rules and regulations of the institution, department and the state.

Large Loose Leaf Notebook (at least 1 ½”), Loose Leaf Notebook Paper, Notebook Dividers, Highlighter Pens, Permanent markers – black and metallic, Pens and Pencils, Plain Flat Clip board (regular size and no compartments) NOTE: Additional kit items, books or workbooks, etc. may be added later, students will be given 1 week to obtain additional items
