DAYS 3 & 4 | CHIANG MAI Visit a market with a local chef to learn about key ingredients before enjoying a Thai cooking class and lunch. Later, visit the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Buddhist temple and experience the lively night market. The next day, take advantage of free time to explore Chiang Mai. Then visit a rural village to meet a local family and sit down for an authentic Khantoke dinner in their home. DAY 5 | LUANG PRABANG Fly to Luang Prabang, Laos, and take an orientation walk around this World Heritage-listed town.

DAY 1 | BANGKOK Arrive in Bangkok, Thailand at any time. Arrival transfer is included. DAY 2 | BANGKOK/CHIANG MAI Explore the enchanting city of Bangkok and take a boat ride along the canals. Visit the Grand Palace and sacred Emerald Buddha at the Wat Phra Kaew temple. Later, catch a flight to Chiang Mai. 22

DAYS 6 & 7 | LUANG PRABANG Rise at dawn to meet local monks and receive a blessing. Visit the Royal Palace Museum and Wat Xieng Thong. Continue on to Wat Visoun and walk through the temple with a monk. Then catch a boat to the cave temples at Pak Ou and stop in local villages. The next day, visit Kuang Si waterfall before some free time to explore the night market. DAY 8 | HANOI Fly to Hanoi, Vietnam, and go on a guided cyclo ride and orientation tour of the Old Quarter. Have lunch at Hoa Sua, a training school for disadvantaged youth.

DAY 9 | HA LONG BAY Visit Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum before continuing to Ha Long Bay for an overnight cruise in a traditional-style junk boat with a local guide. Cruise through Bai Tu Long Bay, a more secluded section of this stunning World Heritage site. Opt to try squid fishing, or simply relax on board. DAY 10 | HANOI Take a morning cruise around Ha Long Bay and explore Thien Canh Son Cave. Transfer back to Hanoi and explore the area during a free afternoon. DAYS 11 & 12 | HO CHI MINH CITY Fly to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), and take a thrilling cyclo tour of this bustling city. The next day, go on a guided tour of the infamous Cu Chi tunnels, known for the vital part they played during the Vietnam War. DAYS 13 & 14 | PHNOM PENH Fly to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Set out on an NGO-supported cyclo city tour along the waterfront to see key city sites, and opt to visit the famous Foreign Correspondents’ Club for sunset drinks. The next day, reflect on the darker side of Cambodian history with visits to the Choeung Ek memorial and the Tuol Sleng prison.
