Dear TCAN Members, Greetings from the staff at TCAN, and happy spring/ summer to all of you! To our newest members who joined or renewed in the month of May, welcome – and thank you for contributing your support to keep live music, art-house movie screenings, comedy shows and children’s programs alive in MetroWest! We are pleased to announce the expansion of our “TCAN presents” performances at several area venues this summer, starting with the return of Carbon Leaf to Lookout Farm in South Natick on June 26. Outdoor concerts at Lookout Farm continue with Adam Ezra Group (Jul 24), Allman Brothers Tribute “The Peacheaters,” (Aug 7), and wrap up with The HillBenders (Aug 14) with their bluegrass take on music from The Who. We’ll also be presenting gospel legends The Blind Boys of Alabama at Keiter Center on the Walnut Hill School campus (Aug 19), and a rare local appearance by Eighties pop icon Taylor Dayne at Natick’s own The Verve hotel (Jul 16). Good times ahead!

DIRECTOR’S NOTE as Patron Services Specialist, and Dave Costa of Franklin, MA, who joins TCAN as our new Theater Operations Manager. Dave C. promises to do his best to assume the responsibilities of Nina Bregler-Scibelli, who has relocated to New Hampshire. Congratulations and best of luck to Paige and Dave in their new roles! The last word this month goes to Nicola Anderson, who continues to curate all the films screened in the TCAN Cinema Room. Nicola has organized two brand new film series premiering this month. The Royal Opera House Series will feature music performances filmed live from the London Stage, beginning with the opera La Traviata followed by Tchaikovsky’s classic ballet Swan Lake, performed by London’s Royal Ballet. June will also see the premier of a new Family Movie Series generously sponsored by the Allain + Warren Group, featuring great kids’ movies for just $5 a ticket (including a free popcorn!). Let summer begin! David Lavalley, Executive Director
