Dear TCAN Members, First thing – welcome to all the contributing members that continued to support us in 2021. You have our deepest thanks – and while the pandemic presented a challenge to all performing arts organizations, TCAN members are hanging tough with over 1,300 households from across the Commonwealth becoming new members or renewing your commitment to our mission. As you can see in this new issue of the Member Guide, we have resumed programs of all kinds for you to enjoy. New concerts and comedy events, screenings of this year’s Oscar-worthy films, children’s programs and more await. We are encouraged to read recent reports that the Omicron surge is on the downswing in the vast majority of Massachusetts communities and looking forward to the months ahead. We continue to monitor guidance from health authorities and will update our entry requirements accordingly, but we’re feeling more hopeful than we have in quite a long time.

DIRECTOR’S NOTE 2022 is a milestone year for TCAN and marks our 25th year of presenting arts programs in Natick Center. We also celebrate the 5-year anniversary of our Cinema Room, when we christened the big screen in early 2017 with the classic 1961 version of West Side Story. Quite a lot has changed in Natick Center since 1997, and we thank you, our members, for the important role you continue to play in helping our organization thrive. Finally, we are delighted to begin this year by welcoming the newest addition to the TCAN staff – Audrey Ensor who joins the team as our new Marketing Coordinator. Audrey comes to TCAN after several years with Medfield TV, where she produced video programming and most recently provided leadership as their Interim Executive Director. In addition to producing our marketing materials, Audrey is excited to ramp up our livestream video programming. We wish Audrey great success in her new position! David Lavalley, Executive Director

Many of these Founders Society members were also instrumental in the creation of TCAN at its inception, working and participating as active volunteers. TCAN is pleased to honor the donors whose generosity supports its cultural mission. Those individuals who have made lifetime gifts of $15,000 or more to TCAN, and organizations contributing $30,000 or more are honored as members of the Founders Society. In addition to their philanthropic support, Founders Society members are at the heart of the TCAN community, serving as volunteers, board members and advocates for The Center for Arts in Natick.
