In the yard behind the greenhouse, against the shop, you will find two types of seedless eating grapes — dark purple and red.

At the end of the greenhouse, there is an oak tree; a second oak tree is located in the driveway.

In the southeast corner of the property, there is a grove of hazelnut trees. To the right of the cement walkway stands another hazelnut tree, a cotoneaster shrub, a blue spruce tree, and some honeysuckle shrubs. In this bed, there are also poppies and tulips in spring.

At the front of the house and on the southeast side are a mock orange shrub, climbing clematis, juniper bush, and a very old honeysuckle that has grown into a tree. Parallel to Wood Avenue, there are raspberry bushes, red osier dogwood, a cedar tree, a honeysuckle bush, and behind the cabin, you’ll find a Saskatoon berry bush, hawthorn bush, wild riverbank grapevine, strawberry patch, gooseberry bush, marjoram herb, and a hydrangea.

On the south side of the house, along the porch, there are Japanese anemones, lilies, purple allium, honeysuckle vines, climbing hydrangea, climbing roses, and a hops bush growing up the side of the workshop.

Alongside the walkway, the central bed contains crane ’s-bill, yellow solidago (goldenrod), wild sweet pea, and bracken fern.

Under and around the Norwegian maple, there are wild roses, purple globe allium, small native brush, lilies, tulips, daffodils, purple and white lilac, yellow forsythia, purple vinca (periwinkle), lovage herb, and cotoneaster.

On the back west side of the house, there are raspberries, blueberries, and an acer maple shrub. Behind the campfire area are a currant bush with fragrant yellow flowers in summer, horseradish, Pacific willow, pear tree, apple tree, mint, and sweet cicely growing on the ground. A plum tree grows in a small brick circle with hollyhocks. The three fruit trees are all multigrafted. Fiddlehead ferns and tulips grow in the bed beside the grape arbor, which holds red and green eating grapes.

On the north side of the house, there are lemon balm, mint, and ferns.
