CONCEPT
The concept is to de ne the learning space for each three intensive engineering programs. In that way, the students can have their own learning space separating from others yet they are still under the same school with their companionship united apart from their own space.
CONCEPTUAL DIAGRAM

Three programs are separating and have their own space
Placing common space between them to unite them all together
CLIMATIC RESPONSE
SUN PATH
They are connected as one
Using the curves on possible site access to serve the welcoming sense
Conceptual building was created from the concept
On the east side of the building, is the most side that recieving the strongest sunlight.
Applied the solid facade to create shade and provided some shadow through the building.
VENTILATION & WIND FLOW
N
The transparent area is in the middle, most of it is the corridor which show the circulation inside the building, there are not much program placed at this side due to the sun path.

The curve line compatible with the ventilation way (winds come from NE to SW and SW to NE)

A curve as an opening space create the air ow throughout the building
As it is an airy space, create gathering & communication space also a welcoming area to the building.

The basement oor has 54 parking lots, both sta and visitors can use this area and can access the building by elevator and stair. The circulation is following the arrow on the plan.
The ground oor plan showing the welcoming area in the middle of the building. This idea came from the way where all the entrances are met with the main stair which is the gathering space for students.
There is a machine zone on the corner of this oor, fully equipped with a lot of equipment that could create some noise and may disturb the study area, so we designed it to be placed separate from other programs.

Another program that we place on this oor is an outdoor active learning room which can be integrated with the landscape, so we create the outdoor space to support their learning.

Next is the second oor plan. On this oor there is a sta o ce, some learning rooms, and the gallery. We placed the academic sta and administrative o ce on this oor to easily approach and convenient for contracting the school.
For the third oor, the main program that we focus on will be the laboratory. The main lab from each major is placed separately on three corners. But there are still some labs that they can use together. With this program arrangement the third oor presents the concept as the best.
For the fourth oor there are all sharing learning spaces placed in this oor to prevent interference from the downstairs.
Lastly, on the fth oor there is a lecture room which also needs privacy and a peaceful environment as the fourth oor. It is also able to access the rooftop on this oor.
This section shows how the building stacking as a step from how the program is arranged and cuts through the building and shows how the main stair connected from the welcoming area to the second oor which also provides a foyer at the seating area at ground oor. It also shows the outdoor space of the building which is a roof top and part of an outdoor lab on the third oor

ELEVATION

ELEVATION B SCALE 1:250
The material for the building is concrete and glassing for the exterior with the tiles oors. This elevation shows the main entrance facades with the glassing panel for the curve in the middle to provide the circulation and activities inside the school and serves a welcoming atmosphere. The elevation also shows an outdoor opening area including an outdoor laboratory on the third oor and roof top area.

This elevation shows sub-entrance for the pedestrian user, it also consists of both a solid and transparent panel. The purpose of enclosed concrete panels to the building is to hide the vertical system which is the toilet and elevator while using the certain glass for other public areas. For another elevation, the certain glass in the middle could show the circulation inside the building since the area where the transparent panel located is a hallway. NATCHAYA PANVICHITRA
