profile Ever since I was little I have loved to draw. When I was 4 years old, my parents bought me a coloring book and I happily applied colors on it. That’s when my parents realised that I always have enthusiasm and passion in coloring.

Year after year, I started to learn how to perfect my drawing skills and since then, drawing has been my hobby.

And now, I am interest in learning more about what the creative industry have to offer. I have seen that unique design could make something simple look attractive.

And to do so, creativity are needed.

GRAND 01. BATAVIA HOTEL I imagined making a brand for a grand hotel located at the center of Jakarta district, formerly known as Batavia in the 19th.

For such an ancient theme, it is also essential to create a more modern vibe to it without fully omitting the past. I represent the ancient vibes with the color of sepia. In addition to that, I also applied the modern vibe of Jakarta by adding its well-known buildings, such as BNI, Monas, and other recognizable infrastructures in the society nowadays.

02.

Indomie REBRANDING Indomie is a well known instant noodle brand from Indonesia. Its logo has been rebranded more than once.

What I notice is that even though they have changed the logo numerous times, they always kept the blue and three rainbow colors in the logo. Due to it’s well known logo, I think by omitting the word Indomie and replacing it with a blue Registered mark would be more efficient.

Moreover, I also designed a name card for Indomie containing a number of Indomie’s original mottos, such as ‘Seleraku’ and ‘Dari Sabang sampai Merauke’

INVI TATION

This invitation was designed for my 17th birthday.

I wanted to make it simple yet elegant.

I am in love with the color rosegold because it shows more elegance compared with other colors.

To make it less dull and plain, I combined the color with a marble texture.

In addition to that, I also added the watercolor splash effect to connect all the colors together.

MONCHOU I have always loved seeing everything related to weddings and bridal. When I ordered a cake for my birthday, I had been looking for great cakes accounts on Instagram. Then I stumbled upon some accounts that not only designed cakes for birthdays, but also for weddings.

This inspired me to make a bridal magazine with the content of said account, ‘One More Bake’ and ‘Lenovelle Cake’

06.INDOMIE I have never seen Indomie adds other than what I see on TV. This challenged me to make new types of adds for Indomie production. I decided to make a series poster and a food truck.

Through the poster series, I would like to show three favourite flavours from Indomie with also three different colors. In this case, I have presented the famous mottos ‘Seleraku’, ‘Momen Seru’ and ‘Dari Sabang Sampai Merauke’ that are usually used in Indomie adds.

Back in 2016, there was a movie competition in my school. The theme was Journey, and I was asked to make a film poster for it.

The story tells about a journey of three spies trying to prevent a bomb from exploding. And with the bond of friendship, they went through the conflicts and ended up succeeding even though one of them got killed. The poster background was to promote the excitement and tension of the film itself.

THEATER TICKETS Every year, 12th grade students in my school have an assignment to make a play for a theater show. This year, the theme chosen is vintage. Therefore, the tickets style are according to that specific theme. The color red, blue, and yellow represent the price of them, with blue being the highest. The original idea came from the ignition of a flame because a fire is said to be most powerful when it is blue and the weakest being yellow.

sunset in bromo My school instructed my grade to present an art showcase. We were told to make something that portrays the beautiful and nature of Indonesia. I decided to paint a view of Mount Bromo during the peak of sunset.

These drawings are my practices on still life drawings. The objects were put in front of me as I tried to draw them.

What challange me is how to make the drawings look real with different shading techniques. I also found out that drawing from different angle could be challanging.

I am still learning to improve it but I believe practice makes us better.
