It’s with immense pleasure that Smt.Kalamandalam Jisha Sumesh, her disciples and their parents cordially invite you with your family and friends to join their most awaited and prestigious event Laasya Kala Sandhya – 2023, which is a graceful blend of Indian Classical dances by giving more importance to MOHINIYATTAM, the traditional classical dance form of Kerala. The event will showcase the performances of the budding and talented disciples of Smt Kalamandalam Jisha Sumesh, marking their 11th Anniversary celebrations. All these talented dancers have gone through rigorous training under the dedicated and able guidance of their Guru.

Guru Kalamandalam Jisha Sumesh
A diploma holder in Mohiniyattam and Bharatanatyam from Kerala Kalamandalam, hailing from Payyannur, kerala. From the Kerala Kalamandalam under the traditional guidance of prominent teachers like Prof.Kalamandalam Leelamma, Prof.Kalamandalam Hymavathi, Prof.Kalamandalam Pushpalatha and Prof. Kalamandalam O.K.Ambika, Ms.Jisha passed out with flying colours. She has actively been teaching and training her disciples in U.A.E for more than two decades under various institutions. She has been in the Organizing Committee for several cultural programs held in Dubai & Sharjah and in judging panels for various competitions held in UAE, India, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman.

Laasya Kala Sandhya – A Program Series:
With “Laasya Kala Sandhya”, the one and only dance program gives more importance to MOHINIYATTAM, our aim is to transform the divine feeling of classical dance to the audience and to stress the importance of the classical dance in the society, when the budding artists perform on the stage for the first time with all the traditional value and grace. The invention of the program series ‘Laasya Kala Sandhya’ is a part of Kalamandalam Jisha’s commitment towards the society to spread the necessity of learning classical dance from the tender age itself. According to her classical dance is not only meant for the certain people but also to everyone who has the interest in it. Thus, they can have discipline in life, rejuvenate their body and mind, increase their concentration level, helps them to maintain a stress-free life etc… Laasya Kala Sandhya doesn’t aim to bring up only the talented artists, but to involve everyone like students, home makers and working ladies to make the classical dance as part of their life.
