There are many districts all around the globe that always includes Chinatown as a district for many tourist spots and experiencing the world of the Chinese people. In this magazine, will showcase why Binondo, Manila is one of the most visited tourists spots in Manila and the oldest.

The logo design is designed for an exploration of a very long decade of the tourist spot, and which resembles the entrance of the Chinatown. The color grey is an attraction for a lifetime and the astronaut blue color resembles a calm and trustworthy publication of the topic.

Target Reader / Audience

Demographics

For the family or friends that love to hang out around the area and for taking pictures. With a population of around 20,491 and counting as of 2020.

Psychographics

Home to Chinese-Catholics as it is the place for the churches and temples with many Chinese restaurants and areas for sight-seeing and discoverable places.

Behavior

The area is not very busy, but it is an open area for many food stalls including, café’s, ramen shops, and shopping malls. An even detailed for tourists spots around the area that many can take a picture from buildings or monuments.

From a five-minute walk From Jones Bridge to Binondo Church so you could see the fantastic view when you entered the area. Before entering the Binondo church, you will come up to Carvajal street which is a food stall for fruits and vegetables. Including, coffee shops, food eateries and umbrella markets. You will also encounter the Lucky Chinatown area which cosists of the shopping mall and entertainment centre.

The Chinatown was established in 1594 by Goveernor and Captain-General of the Philippines Luis Pérez Dasmariñas. Which settlemet consists of Chinese immigrants that are particular to Catholicism and indgenous Filipinmos. Situated across the Pasig River from Intramuros, the former headquarters of the colonial Spanish government, the bustling district of Binondo is considered the world’s first and oldest Chinatown.
