Frances M. Young 2023 President
California Association of Real Estate Brokers (CAREB)
Greetings to our NAREB President, Madam Lydia Pope, NAREB Executive Officers, Board of Directors, Affiliates, and Attendees,
I am the President of the California Association of Real Estate Brokers (CAREB). We welcome you to San Diego, California, and are thrilled that NAREB decided to make this the home of the the 2023 Annual Mid-Winter Conference.
We are NAREB'S California State Board which includes a total of eleven local boards and one of the largest Boards in NAREB. It brings me great pleasure to welcome you to California and in knowing that you will be attending this honorable occasion with NAREB and its Affiliates.
This year CAREB will celebrate 67 years of fighting for "Democracy in Housing." As the California State President, I am here to tell you that we have adopted NAREB'S comprehensive training platform for building "Generational Wealth" through homeownership on a national, state, and local level.
I applaud our CAREB team's collective leadership throughout California and the "DRIVING FORCE." Because of their hard work and diligence, there has been a phenomenal increase in CAREB membership across the state with nearly 700 record breaking members. I would like to recognize the stellar performance of the CAREB Executive Officers, Board of Directors, Regional Vice Presidents, Affiliates, and Partners for a job well done. Thank you, NAREB, for leading the organization forward in a positive direction and for sustaining the efforts and the goal of increasing homeownership in Black America.
Greetings to you again and Happy New Year. I know you will be enriched and inspired by the expression of LOVE and JOY that we share.
In the REALTIST Spirit,
Frances M. Young President
