PROFILE
My expertise lies in the exploration of architecture through delicate hand-drawn techniques, which I honed during my education at the University of Greenwich. This experience has ignited a passion within me for the built environment, compelling me to continuously experiment with diverse mediums, including various 3D modeling programs. Since my early childhood, I have harbored a dream of designing buildings that make a difference.

HATS MAKING CASTLE
The Hats Moving Castle project is in response to a brief that asks, “Do Architects Dream of Extraordinary Space?” The brief encourages students to draw inspiration from science fiction to create unique architectural explorations. The analysis of these narratives provides us with predictive tools as well as the ability to shift current thinking. I developed my own cohesive architectural vision, reimagining extraordinary spaces, through research and spatial speculation.
Hats Moving Castle is based on Diana Wynn Jones’ novel “Howl’s Moving Castle.” Sophie, a normal young girl who makes hats for a living, is the protagonist of the story. Her life is rather monotonous. That changes when she comes across a magical moving castle owned by a reclusive wizard.
The project begins by extracting four main key themes, namely Hats, Machine, Castle, and Hoarding, from the book. These themes serve as the foundation for the creation of a captivating series of imaginative and unconventional models. These models are then refined and translated into intricate pencil drawings and collages. Through these experimental methods, a speculative and enchanting school for hatmaking with a seasonal program emerges. Elements derived from the initial stages of experimentation are skillfully incorporated to shape the design of Hats Moving Castle, resulting in an intimate yet exhilarating space.

Indy Co.
The name ‘Indy Co.’ is derived from the word ‘indigo’. The wordplay embodies the project’s essence, which is to be considerate of the environment.
The design answers the question, ‘How can we design sustainably in an urban environment?’ This project has been an excellent opportunity for me to apply the sustainability knowledge I gained throughout my bachelor’s degree to the real world. I chose to approach this brief using the following sustainability principle :
1. How can we make the most of the existing structure while minimising waste?
2. How can we create something people will want to keep for a long time?
3. How can we make use of site features such as natural light?

TOTAL THEATRE BY THAMES BARRIER PARK
Total Theatre by the Thames, like Total Theatre by Walter Gropius, redefines the definition of a theatre. The theatre harvests light, wind, water, and sound from the site to create a one-of-a-kind programme. The space depicts dancers moving beneath the glass ceiling’s water reflection, dancing to the sounds of the river. The goal was to create something that empathises with the context in which it is built, preserving the surroundings while altering the theatre experience. After years of use, the structure becomes one with its surroundings as nature takes on the building.
The building transforms and becomes one with the site. Creatures and plants start to inhabit the building as time passes.
The theatre harvests light, rain water, sounds and wind to use as part of the show. The elements set the stage for dancers to interact with the natural elements of the site.
THE SOHO HINGE
What began as a local pub has evolved into a mixed purpose creative hub.
Upon an investigation of Soho’s vibrant atmosphere and its flourishing nightlife culture, I found myself deeply captivated by its irresistible charm. The remarkable ability of this area to unite individuals and cultivate innovative concepts makes it an ideal platform for designing something truly meaningful for the younger generation.
Soho Hinge’s programme began as a pub, and has progressively become a dynamic creative hub specifically tailored to foster ideas through a spirit of playfulness.
Moreover, the very process of design for this project reflects a playful mindset, as I deliberately deviated from conventional design approaches, embarking on a journey of exploration through a series of sketches and meticulous model-making iterations. This unconventional approach ultimately led me to discover the final space.
The architectural layout of the building incorporates flexible spaces meticulously designed to accommodate various daytime and nighttime programs. By offering versatile environments, Soho Hinge ensures that the diverse needs of its patrons are met with utmost care and precision.
