We have been receiving a number of communications both oral and in writing from members across the circle seeking clarifications in regard to obtaining of reimbursement of medical expenditure from the Insurance Company. We have also received a number of representations seeking the assistance of the Pensioners’ Association for getting payment of the bills submitted. On the basis of the issues raised and sorted out with the Management, we wish to provide certain basic inputs to our members to enable them to get the reimbursement of medical expenditure with least inconvenience.
The meeting has now been fixed on 23rd October, 2016 and necessary communications have already been sent to all those who have already enrolled as our members. We are also making attempts to reach all those who are residing in this part of Karnataka and were not able to get enrolled as members to attend the meeting in order to enable them to participate in the function and make it a grand success.
Submission of Claim forms: The members should submit the right Claim forms while claiming the reimbursement of the expenditure incurred by them. If the treatment is taken under domiciliary treatment, they should submit the claims under the respective claim form. Similarly, if the expenditure incurred is on hospitalization they should submit the appropriate form for the purpose. We have published all the specimens of the claim forms in our earlier magazines and the members may utilize the same for the purpose.
The members of neighboring districts of Raichur, Bidar, Yadgir etc., have been requested to participate in the meeting and utilize the opportunity of meeting the representatives of the Pensioners’ Association who will be sharing the latest information to all our members residing in this part of the state. The establishment of a separate Zonal Office in the city of Gulbarga would provide an excellent opportunity to our members residing in these interior parts to have the services of the administrative office and derive all the benefits that are being enjoyed by the members residing in other modules of the circles.
