THIS BUS TERMINAL WAS DESIGNED WITH A CONTEXTUAL CONCEPT APPROACH, I E , THE CONCEPTS USED IN ITS DESIGN ARE COMPATIBLE WITH THE SPECIFIC CONTEXT OF THE TERMINAL'S LOCATION THE TERMINAL IS A PUBLIC BUILDING INTENDED TO SERVE USERS FROM VARIOUS COMMUNITY BACKGROUNDS AND DIVERSE AREAS OF ORIGIN THE UTILIZATION OF CONTEXTUAL ARCHITECTURAL CONCEPTS IN THE DESIGN OF THIS BUILDING

THIS TERMINAL, WHICH OCCUPIES A LAND AREA OF 5 5 HECTARES, IS SITUATED AT JALAN SOEKARNO HATTA NO 2, IN THE RAJABASA JAYA SUB-DISTRICT OF THE RAJABASA DISTRICT, WITHIN THE CITY OF BANDAR LAMPUNG, LAMPUNG. THIS LOCATION WAS CHOSEN DUE TO ITS SIGNIFICANT POTENTIAL AS A TERMINAL SITE

THE BUILDING MASS ORIGINATES FROM A SQUARE IN RESPONSE TO THE ALIGNMENT WITH SURROUNDING BUILDINGS SUBSEQUENTLY, THE CONTOURED LAND'S FORM IS INTRICATELY INTEGRATED, ADDRESSING THE LAND'S UNIQUE FEATURES THE CONTOURED LAND GIVES RISE TO STAGGERED MASS FORMATIONS, WITH TERRACED FLOORS ADDITIONALLY, THE BUILDING'S ORIENTATION IS DESIGNED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ELONGATED SHAPE OF THE LAND, OPTIMIZING EXPOSURE TO SUNLIGHT AND MINIMIZING DIRECT SUN EXPOSURE .

IN TERMS OF THE SITE PLAN'S MASS CONCEPT, THE BUILDING IS POSITIONED AT THE CENTER OF THE LAND THIS DECISION IS NOT ONLY DUE TO THE LAND'S RESPONSE BUT ALSO BECAUSE THE CENTRAL AREA HAS SUFFICIENT CONTOURS COMPARED TO THE OTHER SIDES. PLACING THE BUILDING MASS ON THIS CONTOUR, WHICH IS AT A HIGHER ELEVATION, AVOIDS ANY RISK OF WATER ACCUMULATION WITH THE BUILDING MASS SITUATED IN THIS ELEVATED AREA, M O R E B U I L D I N G S B E C O M E V I S I B L E , CREATING A SENSE OF MAGNIFICENCE AND PROMINENCE

IN THIS TERMINAL BUILDING, THE ZONATION CONCEPT IS DETERMINED BY THE ARRANGEMENT OF FLOORS AND FLOOR IS DEDICATED TO COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES, D FLOOR HOUSES ADDITIONAL FACILITIES AND NTLY ALLOCATED AS THE DEPARTURE AREA

THE FAÇADE OF THIS TERMINAL UTILIZES TEMPERED GLASS AND AN ADDITIONAL LAYER IN THE FORM OF CONWOOD. CONWOOD IS EMPLOYED AS AN ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY SUBSTITUTE FOR WOOD, CREATED FROM A BLEND OF FIBER AND HIGH-QUALITY PORTLAND CEMENT IT NOT ONLY RESEMBLES REAL WOOD IN APPEARANCE BUT ALSO CONTRIBUTES TO SUSTAINABILITY.

WITHIN THE BUILDING, THERE IS A SPACIOUS COURTYARD LOCATED AT ITS CENTER INSIDE THE COURTYARD, A VARIETY OF GREEN PLANTS ARE USED AS FOCAL POINTS, SERVING

FUNCTIONS TO REGULATE THE INDOOR CLIMATE NATURALLY, CONTRIBUTING TO THE BUILDING'S COOLING, AND REDUCING THE RELIANCE ON ELECTRICAL COOLING MECHANISMS

THE NAME OF THIS “START-UP”, 'GETTING STARTED,' CARRIES A MEANINGFUL IMPLICATION IT COMBINES THE IDEA OF EMBARKING ON A NEW VENTURE WITH THE PRACTICAL ASPECT OF OFFICE SPACES WHEN A NEW COMPANY OR CAREER IS IN ITS NASCENT STAGES, IT OFTEN DOESN'T HAVE THE RESOURCES TO ESTABLISH ITS OWN OFFICE IMMEDIATELY AS A RESULT, IT OPTS TO RENT AN OFFICE SPACE TO INITIATE ITS OPERATIONS JUST AS THE NAME SUGGESTS, THIS RENTED OFFICE SPACE BECOMES THE STARTING POINT FOR THE STARTUP TO BUILD ITS NEW COMPANY

THE MASS LAYING OF BUILDINGS INVOLVES ADJUSTING THE LAND'S SHAPE THE FACADE IS POSITIONED AT THE FRONT OF THE LAND TO ENHANCE RENTAL AND OFFICE SALE VALUES THE PARKING AREA IS LOCATED AT THE BACK OF THE BUILDING TO OPTIMIZE THE VIEW OF THE RENTAL OFFICE AND PREVENT DISRUPTION TO THE BUILDING'S AESTHETIC APPEAL

THE FACADE PROCESSING IS UNDERTAKEN WITHIN A DESIGNATED AREA TO ENHANCE CONSUMER APPEAL FOR RENTAL PURPOSES THIS PROCESS INVOLVES THE UTILIZATION OF VARIOUS MATERIALS, INCLUDING WALLS AND SECONDARY CLADDING APART FROM THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING FACADE AESTHETICS, THIS APPROACH ALSO SERVES TO MITIGATE OR BLOCK DIRECT SUNLIGHT INTRUSION

"SEMESTA RESORT HOTEL” IS A NAME DERIVED FROM THE CONCEPT OF INTEGRATING NATURE INTO THE HOTEL ENVIRONMENT THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THIS CONCEPT IS DRAWN FROM THE IDEA OF CONNECTING WITH NATURE AND INCORPORATING IT WITHIN THE BUILDING THE HOTEL'S DESIGN EMPLOYS THE PRINCIPLES OF BIOPHILIC DESIGN, WHICH IS AIMED AT HARMONIZING WITH THE SURROUNDING LANDSCAPE AND OPTIMIZING THE POTENTIAL OF THE AVAILABLE LAND.

SEMESTA HOTEL RESORT IS SITUATED IN WAYMULI, RAJABASA, SOUTH LAMPUNG DISTRICT, LAMPUNG 35552. ENCOMPASSING AN AREA OF 3 HECTARES, THE RESORT BENEFITS FROM ITS NATURALLY CONTOURED TERRAIN, AS IT IS NESTLED ON A HILL AT THE BASE OF MOUNT RAJABASA. THE BUILDING'S DESIGN DRAWS AN ANALOGY TO A SPINNER, FEATURING THREE BRANCHES THAT FORM DISTINCT COMMUNAL SPACES, PROVIDING A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE THIS SPINNER CONCEPT OFFERS A BRIEF RESPITE, ALIGNING WITH THE CAFÉ'S RESTORATIVE PURPOSE, CATERING TO INDIVIDUAL RECOVERY ACROSS BIOLOGICAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, AND SOCIAL ASPECTS.
