Mining Sales Professional BWE - Windhoek
The Position Reporting to the Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for Marketing and Sales of Earthmoving and Mining Equipment to Namibian Mines and Contract Miners (open cast and underground Mine). Demonstrating products and services to existing/potential Customers and assists them in selecting the best suited to their mining requirements. Qualifications & Experience • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Mining or Trade Diploma/N6 or Sales Diploma • 5 years working experience in a Mining environment specific exposure to Heavy Earthmoving Equipment • Knowledge of Mining and Earthmoving Equipment essential and mining application • 5 years Earthmoving Sales Experience (CAT) is preferable however 5-10 yrs Sales Experience with a premium brand Customer is adequate • Code B Driver's License • Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills • Knowledge of CAT Product line will be added advantage • Sound MS Office Knowledge • Able to work both independently, and as part of a Team • Ability to effectively interface with all Customer Responsibilities • Establishes, develops and maintains business Relationships with current Customers and prospective Customers to generate new Business for the Organization • Promote, sell and secures mining equipment sales through value selling of products and relationship building. • Identify new Business opportunities and applications for new Business • Carry out mining application site studies and advice to customer project management teams on improvements. • Ensure equipment deliveries within agreed scope through effective project management. • Be abreast with mining industries activities and identify opportunities to grow sales • Achieves maximum Sales profitability and growth by effectively selling the Company's Products and/or related services Interested candidates that meet the above requirements should send their CV's and certified copies of educational qualifications and relevant documents to: Recruitmentwindhoek@barloworld-equipment.com not later than 04 July 2014 Please note that only short listed candidates will be contacted
